My daughter and I love ice cream and Saturdays are our ice cream days. Today I decided to take my daughter to her first coldstone experience because I have always loved coldstone and knew she would love to watch her ice cream being made. I always get the founders favorite because I like the chunky pieces of the brownie and the pecans and I ordered the Gotta have it size. When the young lady was finished filling the cup with the creation, she realized that she did not put enough ice cream and then to my surprise she grabs a blob of plain ice cream and plops it on top of the creation and closes the lid. I found this to be sooo lazy and inconsiderate of the quality that is expected by clients like myself who are paying $12 for an icecream and I can confidently say that im sure the owners would agree with me that the quality their employees provide their paying customers should be above this. I asked her if she could please mix the ice cream into the creation. She proceeded to improperly mix the ice cream as the attached picture is the result of that, which by the way does not show the blob of plain ice cream that was still hiding in the middle. I ended up with an icecream with overmixed ingredients, I no longer could see the brownie chunks but rather brownie CRUMBS all over the icecream. My daughter even looked at it and said it looked "feo". I did not enjoy my icecream, I like to enjoy my ice cream with its chunky and distinct pieces. If I wanted a milkshake I would've ordered one.    Read moreFirst off I want to AGREE with the other Negative reviews about Rick. Received a phone call from Rick supposedly states that he is the owner of the facility and he was very disrespectful. Did not allow me to express myself on a recorded line as he agreed and was very dismissive, judgmental and sarcastic. Do not recommend this establishment. They charge you for items that they don’t do not provide and when you bring it up to the attention of the management team, they say that Rick is not available or here, no matter how many times you call to address the issue. He doesn’t care about customer service at ALL!
He likes to talk down to customers as you can read on other Replies from him on other negative reviews. He thinks that it’s not his fault for hiring the incorrect kids/teenagers as he likes to referred to them. He probably doesn’t pay them good enough, which is why they don’t care about the service the staff provides.
As soon as you call corporate and follow a complaint, Rick is very quick to jump the gun and disrespect customers on the phones call even though you informed him the call was being recorded in the beginning of the conversation. He hung up the phone on me. Furthermore, now I understand why and how his employees get the attitude and hanging up on customers on a regular basis. So they offered a refund. We requested a receipt for proof of refund they would not give it to us. They said no receipt available only electronic. We have to wait 4 to 7 days. We ask to record for proof and they said no. Just to trust in their word. We didn't get there word on cake being done how can we trust there word.
