I have "chosen" to stop at this dairy Queen for over a year now and always had a very pleasant experience. Denise is amazing and the gentleman manager(been there a long time recently out for a couple weeks)along with one other young lady I believe her name was Catrina (my apologies it's close to that). Always had a amazing experience until last night. I normally make purchases 2 to 3 times a week of one or two triple hamburgers (for my dog and granddog) occasionally the whole family chooses Dairy Queen and make a purchase of 30 plus dollars I have received several free cakes with my rewards in the past year. Last night I chose to make a purchase of cheese curds along with my two triple burgers my bill was almost $20 I asked her to trade the marinara which comes factory packaged for a small clear container (store self-made) of ranch dressing she took my marinara and told me I would have to pay for ranch when I chose not to pay extra since my purchase was made online and I did not want to make another purchase. A gentleman came to the window like a bull and aggressively like he was on a mission and told me I would have to pay for a ranch dressing for my cheese curds and that it came with marinara. So I had him give me my marinara back and chose to go to the dollar store next door and buy an entire bottle for a $1.50 so I could eat them on my way home. Just a reminder Mr GM " YOUR POOR CHOICE of customer service" to not trade a factory sealed marinara for a store poured ranch in a clear plastic container with a lid not factory sealed (*please note in the past I have been ask what one I would like and have also reached home with neither one in the bag.) the poor choice of not accepting the factory sealed marinara for a store poured ranch that I could imagine cost the store less than 25¢ has lost you a loyal customer. Just a reminder I passed two Burger Kings (Whopper Wednesday!) multiple McDonald's an Outback steakhouse drive thru along with several other restaurants to reach your Dairy Queen last night. I also called the store several times to reach out to express my concerns before making a post. To the general manager of the store who has made a poor choice, This may not affect your paycheck for me not to return. But I ask you do you feel your choice to save the company less than 25¢ is worth your poor choice. I was willing to give you the factory sealed marinara worth probably .30¢. Mr GM I hope you make it up to corporate some day to teach other GM's how the bottom line works " POOR CHOICES LOSE MONEY"
P.S. I have over 3000 reward points I'll be stopping in your store to get another free cake before my...
Read moreIâve gone to this Dairy Queen countless times because I love the Oreo blizzards. But I had an experience in December I would like to share. I ordered a small Oreo blizzard about an hour and a half before they closed. I got my blizzard in the drive through and went to park to eat it. I went to open it and it looked like plain vanilla ice cream, not an Oreo blizzard. I dug down to see if maybe there was Oreo hiding, and all that was there was powdered Oreo, not even chunks or crumbs. And there was barely âOreo powderâ at that. So I pulled back through the drive through and I asked to buy some extra Oreo toppings, and I didnât even say why I wanted it. The lady who was taking my order was interrupted by another lady who said âwhy do you want extraâ, and I said âmy blizzard didnât really have any Oreoâ and she said âwhat sizeâ I responded âsmallâ and she told me to pull up to the window. I pulled up to the window with my credit card out and the lady from the speakerphone opened the window and shoved me out a ramekin of Oreo. I went to hand her my card and she responds ânext time if you want more Oreo, you need to ask for it to be lightly blendedâ (with an attitude) and I said âthere wasnât even any pieces in the blizzardâ and showed her. She didnât even look at the blizzard, and I went to hand her my card and she said âdonât worry about it, next time ask for it to be lightly blendedâ and slammed the window shut. I want to say this wasnât the cashier, I believe this was the manager, as she was not working the register when I pulled up before and was dressed different than the other workers. I have contemplated complaining now for months but it wasnât until I went to another Dairy Queen and received exceptional service that I felt the need to go through with this review. This lady was so nasty and rude to me, and I did nothing to provoke this behavior, I was nice and patient, and I didnât blame anyone, I just pulled up asking to buy extra Oreo. Now listen Iâve been a server for four years and I deal with people on the daily, and NEVER have I ever treated someone like this. This manager need to be seriously dealt with, this behavior...
Read moreUpdating my previously good review. I went to the DQ official website and wanted to order my son an Oreo Ice-cream cake for his birthday. This order was placed 3 days ago. Their website directed me to order it through Seamless powered by Grub hub. I placed the order 3 days ago for an 8 inch Oreo cake with "Happy birthday Isaac" written on it. I got there to pick it up today and they said they didn't have it. Said they had my order but because it was placed through a third party they didn't have to honor it if it wasn't in stock. They could see I had already paid and even printed out the order on their register. Said they could only guarantee orders placed in store. They did have a 10 inch Oreo cake but said they couldn't give me that one instead because it would mess up their inventory. My only option was to take another 8 inch cake from their case in a different flavor with nothing written on it. They could have fixed the problem by offering me the other size of Oreo cake and writing his birthday message on it....would have taken 5 minutes and fixed the problem, but it seems that inventory count was more important than customer service. My family and I used to go to this DQ almost weekly after church. I think we will find a new...
