I was so excited for this location to open. I went the first day and had a medium chocolate dipped cone. It was perfect. Tonight I ordered a medium strawberry sundae and was really disappointed. It looked more like a mini or small. It barely went to the top of the cup. See picture. I asked the guy at the front if that was a medium and he said yes. Cone was great. There’s something not right with the sundae sizes.
Update: I went again for another try at a sundae. I asked the front person what the sizes were and how much ice cream is in each size. I’ve been to other DQs that have a display of the size comparisons for sundaes and cones. This location does not have that. The person in the front did their best to show me how much ice cream is in the cup for each size with their hands. I placed my order and waited, and waited, and waited. The front person had to tell the people in the back that I’ve been waiting for over seven minutes since ordering before they finally got it out. I ordered a large sundae this time. Below is a picture of that large. It is literally half an inch more ice cream than what I got before. It’s definitely not worth it. This Dairy Queen needs the display showing the size differences like other locations have. This will make sure everything is consistent and the location is held accountable. I chose not to speak to a manager about this because I don’t need special treatment. If this is how the sizes are at this location, then people need to know. If I don’t get the size I’m expecting, I don’t want to go to the...
Read moreI ordered food from the drive-through window. I literally live a two minute drive from there. By the time I got home the food was still piping hot and that was because the burgers were reheated in the microwave. I took a bite into it and you could tell it was reheated, The meat was dry. The chicken strips were also dry and old . It had a bad taste due to however, long it was sitting, was not edible. I had to throw it out. I went the next day with the receipt to get refunded. The owner refused to refund me my money. I explained to her the situation it fell on deaf ears. The owners obviously don’t care about the customer or they would’ve rectify the situation. The owner could’ve issued me a refund or given me a gift card to come back at a later date. The only option she gave me was to make up the order right there. I told her today that supper was waiting for me at the house. That’s why I didn’t want the food that day. The only option she gave me was to redo the order right there and then, which they did. I explained to her that I frequent this DQ at least once or twice a week, and that if she did not refund me the money that I would not step foot in the store again. I guess the owners are too money hungry and stupid to see the big picture. Looking at some of the other negative post I see this is not a one time thing with the owners of this store. They need to put the customers first, serve fresh food and if there is an issue… make things right . That’s a shame because they’re damaging Dairy...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Dairy Queen I've been to. While the facility is nice and clean, the quality of the Blizzards is extremely disappointing. For instance, the Butterfinger Blizzard is a complete waste of money and time. Instead of getting pieces of Butterfinger, all you get is Butterfinger dust. Despite always ordering extra Butterfinger to ensure a nice crunch with every bite, there's still nothing but dust, even after paying extra for it.
This isn't an isolated incident either—it's the same every single time.
Most recently, I ordered a Brownie Batter Blizzard with extra brownie pieces and Reese's Pieces. When I got home, there were about 10 pieces of brownie and no Reese's Pieces at all, despite the upcharge. I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to the Dairy Queen on 192, where I consistently get a well-made, loaded Blizzard every time.
Oh and side note one time while we were dinning in with our children there was profanity playing...
