Sunday Breakfast splurge at Jan’s River Park Cafe. Just steps from JazzyPigs Wilderness Refuge, we tried this little breakfast and lunch spot for the first time that we drive by each day. We love a good breakfast so we went in and were warmly greeted. We chose to sit at the counter and were quick brought coffees and waters. The waitress was very nice and informative-they had a pretty extensive old school breakfast menu. We had the corn beef hash & cheese 3 egg omelette and the 1/2 order of chipped beef on toast. The omelette came with grits and wheat toast. All were superb-corn beef was cooked perfect and it wasnt greasy. The chipped beef 1/2 order was huge and it was on Texas toast. It was had home fries. Very filling. Coffee was good- your classic diner coffee. We found the prices reasonable. All told this was a great breakfast and worth another spurge someday. Follow up at JazzyPigs Roadtrippers for more fun reviews 5/2/25 another great breakfast-these guys rock

We camped at Wilderness RV and walked over to check out the cafe and candy store and knew we had to eat. We were there for breakfast but ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. Everything was DELICIOUS! That meatloaf was truly homestyle with onions cooked into the middle. I also ordered the hit chocolate which was amazing too. Not watery but also not overly rich.

This is a very nice little cafe with very friendly staff. They are open for breakfast and lunch. I had the fruit bowl and cheese grits, and hubby had the breakfast special it included 2 eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, and home fries. The food was delicious. They are also right beside Sweet Jane's, so after you enjoy your meal there, you can go next door and get whoopie pies. Yum

We are an elderly couple and have been there about ten times since we live only a mile plus away. The first time the food was good enough to come back since the owner was the server and caring. The next few times, the husband was the server and the orders were often incorrect and the food not worse mentioning. Sorry, no pictures, did not plan to complain, however, today was the worst.

The female owner, who is very nice, but after sitting there waiting for someone to take our order for ten minutes and then waiting again for the water (wrong amount of ice), got burned coffee, ( ordered regular milk) they did not have the Arnold ice tea, so she offered sweet tea which my husband agreed to, however, A. She did not bring and neither my milk. After another ten minutes we got her attention and we asked for our two missing drink items (tea and milk) finally, she came with the tea (not sweet after all) and still no milk. So then we had all our drinks. Hallelujah.

Then the food arrived normal time. However, the seal was a good size but not thick as advertisewith lots of waste. Plus it hade seasoned margarine on top...

We stopped here for breakfast one morning on the way to DeLand and I must say it was pretty impressed with the food and the service.

I have a lot of food sensitivities so it is super important for me to order specific things a specific way and the staff was friendly and helpful about it and the food did not make me sick.

I know that seems like a funny thing to note but I have a difficult time at any restaurant because of the different oils that they use for cooking etc.

The food was fresh, delicious and had flavor, And it was clear that they use decent quality...
