First time ever trying Flippers Pizzeria and it was really good. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, the Big Pie Pizza and Bone In Hot Wings. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was delicious! I loved the addition of the gorgonzola cheese. A lot of pizza places don't have that and it was a perfect touch. I order Buffalo Chicken from any pizza place and it did not disappoint. For the Big Pie pizza, I removed black olives and added jalapenos but the jalapenos were missing from the pizza. Sad face cause I was really excited about their roasted jalapeno topping. They offer a lot of different pizza options and I love that it's not just your typical pizza choices. The dough is flavorful, the crust was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The restaurant was nice and the staff was friendly. I'm glad we tried it. I would definitely eat there again.

To the person who owns Google, Please make it possible to give 0 stars. I’d appreciate it very much. Okay, this place is horrible, period. The service was a disaster. When we walked in, no one came to greet us like ALL THE OTHER RESTAURANTS DO. I was a bit annoyed, but decided that it was only one time and didn’t let it bother me. It was only when we sat down at our table that I realized our menus where already places on the table. I was eating with my dad, and I was a bit confused. After we decided what to get, my dad had to go up to the counter to tell them our order. We then waited twenty minutes but they didn’t even ask if we wanted a drink. Then my dad (I am ten with my own phone, if you are wondering) had to ask for water. Then we had to wait around 3 minutes for them to finally get it, and GUESS WHAT?! There where no straws! Exciting, right? We had to get our own. My dad and I were very disappointed by now. When he wanted to refill his cup of water, he waited in line for ages until the worker finally came back with water but no ice. Then, he asked for ice and the worker gave it to someone else to put the ice in. After that, my dad soon asked a young woman if she could tell us how much longer we had to wait for our pizzas and chicken wings. She went to ask, but hey! Surprise, she sadly never came back. After some time, we finally got our pizza, and someone told us we would need to wait two minutes for the chicken wings. HOWEVER, WE WAITED FOR 10 MINUTES AND STILL NOTHING!! Then my dad went to ask and aPpAreNTlY you are supposed to get everything yourself. Shame. The ‘chicken wings’ looked more like soggy chicken nuggets. (Image on the bottom.) The inside of them looks like it too. I wished we had given them 13 cents for the tip and made the table as dirty as we could. You really don’t know how happy you can be- when you leave the horrid place. Good job to the owner. Just get a random slice of pizza from the trash can. At least it’s free and there’s no wait.

I had high hopes for Flippers Pizzeria, lured in by its glowing reviews and close proximity to where I was staying. However, my experience was disappointingly lackluster, particularly with the Triple Pepperoni pizza I ordered. The pizza itself was a soggy testament to mediocrity, soaked in its own grease to the point where any semblance of a crisp crust was a distant dream. For a dish that boasts "triple" pepperoni, I found the topping amount to be no more generous than what one might expect from a standard pizza, perhaps slightly more at best. The sauce and cheese did nothing to elevate the meal, presenting themselves as bland and forgettable companions to the already underwhelming pepperoni. The only silver lining to this culinary cloud was the Italian side salad, which was fine, and the service, which was notably pleasant and friendly. I was greeted warmly upon entering, and my order was surprisingly ready ahead of schedule. Even when I had to dash back in for utensils and napkins, the staff was accommodating and quick to provide what I needed. Yet, these positive aspects were overshadowed by the profound disappointment that was the pizza. Comparing it to food court pizza would be generous, and that's a sentiment I never thought I'd express about any restaurant meal. As someone not from the area, I ventured into Flippers Pizzeria with the hope of discovering a local gem. Unfortunately, my advice to fellow travelers and locals alike would be to seek out other dining options. The area surely has more to offer than this culinary letdown.

Update: Marco did a great job keeping us hydrated and well fed on a very busy Flippers Night. Pizza is ALWAYS great. Updated 7/2022: We so enjoy this location on I-Drive, Bianca is simply the BEST!!! The service she gives us is fantastic!!! I think she can anticipate the speed at which we need refills. Amazing. My Hog & Honey My Pie was an extra special treat since I havent had one for quite some time. Oh YUM! Update 1/2019: We enjoyed the service Bianca gifted us tonight!! I was pleasantly surprised with the Hog & Honey pizza. WOW!! Great combination if flavors. Better than the average brick oven pizzas. We will revisit. Updated 10/2017: We are back in town and enjoyed pizzas and a calzone. Still a treat to enjoy great flavors with fresh ingredients.

For a competitive pizza chain, Flipper's has some pretty excellent pizza! This particular location moved to this location in 2016, which was a smart move considering how S. I-Drive on the southern side of Central FL Parkway is being heavily developed. Their old location was in a dilapidated strip mall with an old, abandoned restaurant at the entrance which blocked the view of that old Flipper's from passers-by on the road. This location has ample parking, outdoor seating, a gorgeous and clean interior, and is surrounded by other places like major & smaller/more intimate hotels, gift shops, specialty shops, dessert places, a Wawa Convenience Store & Gas Station, a Walgreen's, CVS, Starbucks, and much more!

Service was slow and messed up the order. Mediterranean Salad was ok nothing too fancy. The pesto pizza was delicious great flavor the dough is not as fluffy as other pizza. This makes the sauce not get absorbed in the crust And becomes a really wet pizza. The flavor on the plain pie needed something. The meatball sandwich is not a sandwich it's a half a pie folded over with meatballs on it. I enjoyed it but the wife didn't. We weren't supposed to get the meatballs because we changed the order and just wanted 2 small pies and a salad. That is what the waitress messed up on. If I lived in the area I would make this my pizza shop but the wife disagrees and that is why everyone has different tastes.
