I have been to several different locations including Sarasota and Brandon. The experience in those other locations was amazing, food was outstanding, service & atmosphere..
I was so excited to hear this location open near me!! š¤©My boyfriend and I ordered quite a few things and spent almost fifty dollars.. Including the new margarita.. Which did not look like the picture..š¢
We sat down and with our buzzer and was never alerted when our food was ready.. I asked a waitress walking by us who was the store manager what was the protocol.. Do we just go to the window without a buzz..
I knew that was our food on the pass.. The store was not busy and and nobody was concerned with it sitting there.. She said she would go check and she politely brought it to us.. It definitely did not look very appetizing and kinda slap together.. I also noticed we were missing a few things and alerted her again which she did go and get..
My ground beef taco was less than appetizing and half filled.. I could have received better at Taco Bell.š© The shredded beef nachos which for more than ten dollars was very unappealing unappealing and soggy..( Probably you from sitting up on the window)..
I did address the issues with the manager.. Being a fellow retail manager it's important to receive feedback.. She did her best and remade by taco and offered more chips..šš»but at this point she couldn't have done anything to improve this experience.
Upon sitting there and eating the rest of our food it was closing time.. Most of the tables were dirty, we wiped on our own table to sit down.. The young man Who took our order, was now outside with his girlfriend, The dark haired bartender was busy talking to clients and i'm not sure what the rest of the staff was doing.. But definitely not attending to the few customers that were there including us..
There definitely needs to be more coaching at this location... It is a beautiful store and it needs to be addressed.." If you have time to lean you have time to clean." .Being in retai & service it is important to keep it aesthetically appealing to your customers.. People eat with their eyes..š„ŗ Bathroom was not much better trash was overflowing and it was very dirty..... I hope things get better and I wish this team all the best. Signed highly...

In an area dominatd by fast food, I was happy to see Fuzzy Taco open up and was looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunatley, I was very disappointed with my experience. We got chips and queso, a chicken quesadilla, chicken nachos, and a carnitas burrito. First off, I'm not really sure what the queso was, but it reminded me of the gloop that they serve at movie theaters. Both the texture and taste were way off. They must use that same gloop on the chicken nacho entree, because it was a soggy mess with a very artificial flavor. The burrito and quesadilla were okay, but also tasted very processed. In other words, I don't think anything they serve there is made fresh, but rather comes in bags and cans and is simply "assembled". Finally, while the staff seemed pleasant enough, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the following: When I paid at the counter, the POS card reader gave me four options for a gratuity: 18%, 20%, 25%, and "custom". I chose my option, but as my visit unfolded, I was curious as to how an establishment could possibly "suggest" the sort of tipping levels that are standard at full-service restaurants (i.e., where servers take your order, bring you your drinks, serve your food, and bus your table). At Fuzzy's, you have to do all those things yourself... Including running your own food and bussing your own table. You literally have to go to their expo at the kitchen window to bring your own food to your table and then bus your own table when you are ready to leave. I am perfectly okay doing these things myself, but please don't think for a minute that an 18%, 20% or 25% tip is even remotely appropriate.... especially when we had to wait exactly 27 minutes for our "food". Ultimately, I really wanted to like this place (I'm a sucker for a good taco), but sadly, will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor new people, the staff does not explain the procedure well. It's like they assume you already know. Even if you tell them you are new. Food wasn't bad but definitely over-rated. I waited 45 minutes for my Taco dish. And it wasn't even busy. People who arrived later on were served before us. There is NO FREE CHIPS or SALSA so be prepared to pay and the basket size is mediocre for almost $4. They load the chips with a fuzzy dust. Loaded with sodium. I suggest when ordering asking for the fuzzy dust on the side so you can control your own seasoning or get it without it like I did. It was too much sodium for me. They have a lime rice, which is a plain white rice. Ours was dry and undercooked. I ordered the Fuzzy Rice which was definitely moist and represents more of a Spanish rice. I had to ask them to bring me some since my order wasn't correct initially after waiting the 45 minutes. My husband and kids were served almost 10 minutes before me. And were done and ready to go by the time my order arrived. I should mention the 2 other customers that were behind me in line also came over and told me when they heard me speaking to the manager, that they too felt very lost when ordering and pushed through like cattle. None of us had any idea what we were doing or how it works. I guess you pay for the name and the ambiance. However there is much better food and service out there for less cost like...
