Hook Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Florida

I visited the establishment for lunch today. I ordered ahead for puckup and as I entered the obnoxious, arrogant simple witch at the register named tiffany did not acknowledge me at all. She actually acted as if I was invisible but I knew that was not the case because I was dressed in purple from head to ankles. She politely bid a man a great day as he wisked by me on his way out which left no one else in the store, however she began to converse with the other employees and even took an incoming call. Still nothing to me. Another customer rushed in and she politely greeted her and began servicing her as i stood there and stated that i too was there to pick up an order. Her uncivilized, unprofessional response was unbelievable. Her behavior was typical of one with a mental imbalance. She was without a doubt targeting me for a confrontation; not understanding that I am an Israelite and so is she. She needs to repent and recognize who the real enemy is, because im too busy praying for the destruction of Babylon, while she's thinking Babylon is her paradise. Interesting. Because if not for my ancestors who paved the way; she wouldNOT be here in babylon. The smoke had already cleared. Even though there are a few civilized and kind employees that have always treated me kind; I will NEVER support this business and I will spread the word to my associates who also were loyal customers. TREAT your customers with the respect they deserve or dig a damn ditch...itch! In respinse to your followup......NO I was not on my phone when I entered. I was looking at my phone to confirm order was ready. I walked in and went directly to the window and Tiffany ignored me period, she always has a foul attitude towards certain customers. I come to this hooks often, and get the same order every time I come. Usually my experience is very pleasant and the food is always great! But this last time I called in my order of 2 piece catfish with 10 shrimp & fries. When I got to the location I was handed my food and asked to check the plate, so I did just that. I opened up the plate looked at it and noticed I had two pieces of fish and shrimp. It was not until I got home that I noticed they had given me tilapia (which I don’t eat and did not order). I politely called the restaurant back to tell them that they had given me the wrong meal. The woman I spoke with, who I am assuming was a supervisor (because that’s what I asked for) told me that the person who took my order probably just made a mistake and took down the wrong order. She apologized and told me that they’d fix it. However I explained to her that the drive was a 20min drive away and that I had to pick my daughter up from school soon. She told me that I could just bring it back tomorrow and they’d fix it. So long story short they inconvenienced me by giving me the WRONG ORDER and instead of offering a credit or something of the such they expected me to drive 40mins (going&coming) to swap out two pieces of fish. VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

I tried this place this afternoon after visiting for the first time and tried the #1 lunch special and then the conch balls which I brought home for my mother. We are both extremely picky when it comes to our seafood, as we usually catch our own or my father gives it to us.

I will start with my mother who loved the conch, said that it tasted as though it was done from the Island and was full after eating it. They did a great job and the food looked and smelled perfect on the way home.

My lunch special was the same cooked perfectly, the wings tastey and crispy, the shrimp were plump and not filled with oil. Then the fish, which was tilapia was breaded and seasoned perfectly, a nice sized portion and I was full after eating it.

Service wise, they were friendly and attentive, very much on top of there game and a pleasure to meet. No complaints at all.
