Johnny's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Florida

This was the third time that we order from Johnny’s since moving to the shores. I was raving about the pizza, and how they use NY water to my friend Will. We either get plain cheese, or meatball and mushroom when we get pizza for ourselves. This time we were accommodating Will and ordered a pepperoni and mushroom 18 inch pie, well done, and with no oregano since they put too much oregano on it. That was our only complaint prior to this time. When I called, the young man didn’t even say Johnny’s pizza, he said hello and that was it. To make sure that the order would be correct, I had him repeat it back. 18 inch extra large, pepperoni and mushroom, no oregano, well done, please. He repeated it back to me. My friend will went and picked up the pizza, and brought it back to the house. As we were starting we immediately noticed that it had sausage instead of mushroom, and that it was definitely not well done. We have pizza trays at the house, so I put the oven on 425, and I stuck the pizza in there for another five minutes. I called up and the person that picked up the phone did say Johnny’s pizza, and it sounded like either the owner or his son. He was very apologetic about the pizza, but didn’t offer to do anything to replace the messed up pizza. I guess we will have to drive over to the place that we used to eat at when we lived over in town. We felt so embarrassed. After telling our friends, how great the pizza was as the two that we had prior to this one, were good, but they just had way too much...

My order was delivered. My chef salad had no cucumber as the menu said it would, The Ham, Salami,and Provolone cheese sandwich I asked for with lettuce and onion and red wine vinegar and olive oil, due to food allergies. I received with tomato ( an (allergic food), saturated in an brown sauce of some kind, covered in lettuce that looked like it was wilted and the whole sandwich had been cooked. I called the Pizzeria and told the person that I didn't order this mess and I couldn't eat it, come pick it up and return my money, he said ok. Well guess what, No one showed up to pick up the sandwich, I haven't received a refund for it and upon delivery Johnny never included a receipt. My credit card was charged $28.00 for what I have no idea because even if you added everything I ordered the total should have been less than $19.00. minus the sandwich $12.00. Do not order through bite squad. I ordered at 5:15. Bite squad said I could pickup at 6:05. 6:05 comes and my order was still stuck on sending. Once it finally changed it said I could pick at 7:06-7:16. Got there at 7:15 they said I still had to wait 5 minutes. I waited five minutes and nothing. After waiting 20 minutes for them to finish I finally get angry and ask all to find out my pizzas had been sitting on top of the oven some of them since I got there. I got home and of course my Sicilian was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted. All pizzas were cold after driving 9 minutes home. The pizza itself tasted good. I enjoyed the taste but between how long it took and it being cold it’s wasn’t worth the over 80.00 I paid for the pizza. If you want hot food and it to be ready on time do not order through bite squad and don’t wait too long to ask where you food is. After all that not even an apology...
