Josiah Steakhouse — Restaurant in Florida

My boyfriend and I made our first reservation yesterday on the phone for 5pm we got there a lillte early went to the casino for a few then 5pm came around and we did not get a notification at all...I went up to the counter asked the hostess if the were open she said yeah but gotta make reservation and told me she didn't have reservation I stop her right there told her she had one at 5pm for 2 people she wasn't very happy preson.. we got seated after 5.. our waitress was great but the kitchen messed up my streak over cooked it Manger fixed it and had them cook me another.. and the drink strawberry basil was the worst drink I ever had.. you need to know that if you use basil in anything it's very lillte couldn't taste nothing but the basil...the waitress got me some thing different that's why I said our waitress was great but the hostess needs to not be so judgemental about people...I don't care what skin color or nationality you are if you can't be pleasant to customers don't work with customers. Then we get a text this morning saying how sorry we missed our reservation and then another one saying thank you... I've worked in customer service my whole life and may be you should teach you hostess on how not to be unpleasant... my boyfriend said some thing to her and all she could say is how...

Went here with friend and waited about 30mins and I'm sure I'm being polite about the time I think it was more. But ordered an appetizer and a steak med rare and both came at same time fries were cold and steak was slightly warm. Waitress tried her best but still no reason it should take this long and other people came in and got food before us. Normally doesnt take this long and they weren't busy. Since I cant do another review I went here again to give this place another try and again worst service. Came in sat down and people who were regulars got their drink and food before me the waitress kept talking with them and didnt realize my drink was empty and I had to ask another person if I could get a refill. When my food came it was warm and not cooked right but I wasnt gonna wait another 25mins for my food so I just ate it and the waitress was talking about how I'm complaining yet eating it and I could clearly hear them talking about me I'm like be professional go to the back dont talk about customers in plain sight. When the manager came after I ate half of it kept asking what's wrong with it with such a rude attitude it's not worth eating here you'll have better service near the back...

The atmosphere is nice small with very dimmed lighting. Only thing is they had an annoying fly kept buzzing. Waiter was attentive but service was slow. Food was poor. Had grilled pork chops, which was very dry and was definitely not fresh, they were precooked. Green beans undercooked too crunchy. I sent pork chops back and the manager did not even come to the table and apologize or nothing. He was going to other tables asking other patron how their meal was and just skipped over our table. Husband had prime rib which was not cooked to order, it was dry in the center not medium well at all and definitely not fresh. The serving a bunch of precooked foods and not quality but charging " steakhouse" prices. Bacon mac n cheese was decent. Overall would not recommend for not being freshly prepared...
