La Catalana Bakery & Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

hello just wanted to let people know how this place has gone down the drain with the quality and service. I was going to this bakery for quite a few years in the mornings the owner and daughter were amazing and they were very on top of things this past year an a half I stopped going after several time that for 1 the rudest girls i have encountered and the sandwiches OMG horrible its a shame when an employer leaves the store in hand of incapable employees that ruin your reputation I ordered today a cuban sandwich and I gave it to my dog not even a full slice of the fake pork when you look at the sandwich there is no desire to eat it. I saw the last review 8 months ago and still there is no improvement !!! I will post the pictures in a little while having trouble uploading sorry. I only hope the owners do something quick cause its been a while since i see them doing anything about the employees and the quality an service. BEWARE AND GET...

Genuine scam.

Picked up a Too Good To Go box and decided to order a few normal items.

They charged my card more than double the price of those items hoping I don't see it on the receipt.... and at the end of the day when the food is already old and soggy too! When I called them out on the charge on the spot, they tried to gaslight me for a while and finally the girl says "I'm new" as a new excuse, no apology whatsoever or offer of a discount or refund. They planned to keep the money they stole. I had to fight for 5 whole minutes to get my money back!!! Charged $25 for just a few pastries - insanity!

Ok. This is the Cuban Bakery in front of my home. Its family owned. You sometimes need to know Spanish, but ask for the baker if you have troubles. I highly recommend the coffee, the pastries and cakes. And hot Cuban bread all day long for $1.00 . im talking a real loaf size. My kids and grandkids hit this place every Saturday & Sunday. But don't tell my Kids I sneek up there 4 times a week. Lol. Just love the., Cafe Con Leche, empanadas, and my all time favorite is the Pasteles Queso. Thats a pastery with a cream cheese. Now I would love to order mine and put a dab of Raspberry Jam in mine and am told, " Cindy bring us this Jam you talk about" lol. I will when I have my next family...
