Used to love the LH! I’ve been a regular since moving here just over 5 years ago. Happy hour is over at 5. Sure it starts at 11 or noon, I’m not sure, but I rarely drink that early. Every restaurant I know in a 10 mile radius, has a HH that extends till 6 pm. At least show us regular year round patrons some love and extend it to 6 or even 7 off season. Till they do, they will lose me to other businesses. I urge others to speak up with their “feet” or a review as I have.

Additional comment. I’m very disappointed to see the Lighthouse owners have added a credit card use fee in the restaurant. I do not know if it is applied at the bar. This fee is ridiculous, it should be buried in the food costs. The owners are taking advantage of the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian, as many other coastal restaurants have been destroyed. I get it. It’s business, supply, demand. But as a year round client my visits will be far fewer, especially off season.

Invited to a birthday dinner recently. I’m adding to my previous reviews. Very good service and always a nice setting on the water. Can the head chef please advise the cooking staff to NOT add excessive salt to the Risotto accompanying the Lobster w/ app? You CANNOT remove salt, but the diner can always ADD it. It’s a common mistake in non gourmet restaurants and it was almost and probably should have been returned. (The risotto is premade, I’m sure and would have...

This was our first time going here and our last. Christmas Eve and we wanted to celebrate by going out. What a huge mistake. The wine, food, and service were subpar and we are not high sticklers. The house Chardonnay was undrinkable. It tasted like cheap Zinfandel from a box. The Caesar salad was inedible. It tasted like unwashed lettuce tossed in mayonnaise. My meal was tepid (room temperature). My husband’s swordfish was over cooked and was as thin as a pancake. His potatoes were swimming in scallions (not in the menu description). Service was also subpar. In the 90 minutes we were there, no one came to refill our water. Waiter brought my husband’s beer without a glass and he refilled my wine by bringing out a little carafe and pouring it into my dirty glass. Then he brought us the wrong check. The one he brought us was $65 and ours was $113. The place was so loud my husband and I had to yell to converse and the music just made it worse. Our Christmas Eve was ruined. So disappointed since the reviews were so good. We will not go back and since we are locals we will not recommend...

We visited this past Friday evening. We decided to go a little later so the crowd wouldn't be as bad. It was about 7:45pm when we were seated. We sat at the table until 8:20pm with not one of several wait staff in the same area checking our table. I finally had to get up and ask another waitress who our table belonged to, She said she would check. Still waited at least another 10 to 15 before they could figure out who should have been attending to our table. All the time with at least 2 or 3 other staff waiting on tables around us. Once we did get wait staff, she was apologetic. But truly it was not enough, after being on the verge of walking out. The food some what made up for the initial lack of service. Our party of 4 had tuna tacos app, chicken salad, rib dinner, one with baked potato and the other vegetables, and stuffed shells with meatballs. All the food was very good, but we already had a bitter taste from lack of initial service. Would be skeptical of coming back when I am in...

We had read both good and bad reviews before deciding to come. Most mentioned that the staff wasn’t “required” to wear a mask. However, everyone on site was masked, and even if they weren’t - I would not have cared because that truly maters little as to how fantastic the food and environment is at The Lighthouse. Myself, my wife, and my parents all enjoyed the entire experience. From the drinks, to the food everything was noticeably above and beyond many of the other restaurants I’ve been too since my vacation began here. The special from the kitchen was American red Snapper and it called out to me by their wording on the menu. How it was plated was beautiful, the color and arrangement was very appealing. And the flavor! Oh it was fantastic. Juicy, fresh, and with a combination of vegetables, and risotto that was cooked perfectly. If you want a stupendous meal, and wonderful atmosphere - come out to The Lighthouse Restaurant and Bar and Enjoy!

Our family decided to take my dad to Lighthouse Restaurant for lunch on his birthday and we were very impressed with the food, service and ambiance. We were there for lunch and we will come back again and again. We ordered the Octopus tostadas for appetizer and we can eat that every day. Then for our meals, we ordered the Chilean bass w/ pesto risotto, the boneless ribs w/ parmesan risotto and the seafood bowl among other dishes and WOW, they were very tasty, lots of flavor and well presented. For dessert, the service, who was amazingly attentive, brought my dad a key lime pie with a little candle for us to sign the Happy Birthday song, and then we ordered the long boat home made ice cream and my favorite Crème brûlée, and again, amazingly desserts, and enough for everyone to share. The prices are a little higher than expected, but for the amazing food and excellent service, it was way worth it. Recommend it 100%

What an amazing experience! Our server was knowledgeable and super FRIENDLY “Will” (William). It was out first visit to the restaurant we sat outside with screened porch. It was perfect “no bugs”. They take no reservations but we called ahead and let the host know we would be there by 7 pm. It was great no wait time for a Sunday night. We ordered from the “Tonights Chef’s Additions”: Bourbon & Garlic Steak Tips with Scallops served with Gorgonzola Risotto and Atlantic Swordfish Steak with Risotto. Both our meals were fresh, the flavors were right on point. The Chef did amazing parring all the flavors from top to bottom. Every bite of each individual dish was completely delicious and fulfilling. We also had the Lobster Bisque, the reviews on this were correct. You got to try the Lobster Bisque CREAMY DELICIOUS AMAZING. We can’t say enough this was a PERFECT DATE NIGHT. We will be back soon. Thank you!
