Okay. So I came in here, because I literally just moved to the area for only days. I had nothing in the house to eat. I wanted Italian food.... long story short... get the pasta with meatballs!
The sauce is sweet and tangy I liked it a lot. The pasta itself was nothing spectacular to write about, but it had ZERO problems... it tasted well, but the headlines here is the feakin meatballs! They were 2 large spicy meatballs that were spiced to perfection. Not over, not under, not too sweet, not too salty... They were delicious! I DEFINITELY will bring my wife and kids here when they move over too.
The cheese pizza sucked.... sorry. I come from Chicago, and the pizza here simply makes me question is "how does this compare to other pizza's around the area?" I've had Walmart's deli pizza and that was to gag for (so bad - even the smell), and the little Caesar's was pretty much garbage too, but this is the first more "traditional Italian" pizza place I've had in Florida. It could simply be that this place, by itself, is not guilty of having bland, dried, limp flavored, cheese pizza, it could be the whole region or state of Florida for all I know??? I was just surprised that they could create such a succulent meat ball and pleasant sauce, but yet fall so short with the cheese pizza? I don't know.
So go for the pasta with meatballs at the very least. I still need to try their other items, but I do it with high...
Read moreI went to this place based on the good ratings and I am leaving this review now in the hopes that someone else will be read it and NOT waste their time and money at this place.
I spent nearly $30 total for quality of food that I would expect from walmart or the dollar store. :-(
I bought a medium 4 topping pizza and only got 3 toppings. The meatball topping I paid for was never added. You would think they would hire people who can at least count the correct number of toppings. The other toppings I got were sausages, onions, mushrooms. The sausage was tasteless. The entire pizza was floppy and tasteless.
I also got a manicotti. It might as well have been a frozen tv dinner because it tasted like nothing special. It was so bland there are literally no words I can use to describe it.
I usually could not care less about "customer service" but the two people working there were on the verge of "rude" because the guy basically hung up on me for the phone order and then when I asked the girl there how much the total cost was for the pizza she clearly gave me the look like, "How dare you question me about the total cost of the pizza you are paying for" and it was not clearly separately totaled on the receipt so...
Read moreI'm giving 2 stars for the Pizza (Please do not call this New York Style Pizza...it is nothing like New York Pizza) because it's pretty good for the area I live in I've come to expect the cardboard crust I find at every Pizza place around here and we usually get our Pizza from Moschellos in Homosassa. But the terrible excuse for an Eggplant Parm hero/sub was a joke (see pic) the eggplant was sliced so thin there was no eggplant to be found, the horrible bread (also found everywhere in Florida) swallowed it and there was almost no cheese at all. There was probably about a dollars worth of eggplant on my $8.95 sandwich. The spinach roll was so thin and smushed and was so dry it was like it was a week old. The calzone would've been ok if there was cheese and ricotta in the whole thing and not just in the center, it was mostly pizza dough. I was very disappointed and would only recommend maybe stopping in for a pizza. I was tempted to grab a slice of the veggie pizza in the counter case until the girl behind the counter said there was ranch dressing on it...ranch dressing has no business being anywhere on a...
