Went for the Saturday Night all you can eat Prime Rib, Sushi and Seafood Buffet. We got there early and decided to sit at bar and get a drink, the bartender was very attentive and quick. We ended up just sitting at the bar for our buffet because there was some confusion on where to put the two of us. Now it was not busy and by the time we started eating around 8pm it was less busy. Went to the hot plate warmer and it was empty, not a good start so had to use cold salad bar plates that are smaller. I really wanted sushi and they had many options but they were all empty, so I figured I'd get some tuna tartar and some mussels and clams in a wine sauce and by the time I got done sushi would be refilled. Came back after 15 min and still no sushi, ok I've made sushi before so maybe there still prepping it. Got some other items ate them and came back two more times and sushi never got refilled. Prime rib was just ok, I asked the carving station attendant for a thicker slice and got thin droopy portion. Obviously he was saving the majority for the kitchen staff to eat on after. The reason we even went is because I did a search for all you can eat crab legs and Mission Inn came up, there were none on the buffet. I asked the bartender and she said it was a $45 optional add on per guest, as poorly cooked as the peel and eat shrimp was I'm not wasting money on improperly cooked crab legs. Desert bar was ok but not extraordinary, looked as if most was ordered in rather than made from scratch. All in all I've had better buffet at Golden Coral and it didn't set me back $54 per person. Bartender was the best part, she was very helpful and even told us about Margarita's a restaurant on the other side of the golf course that makes excellent pizza that I will try soon. Won't be back for buffet.
