Definitely good pizza. I would say that if you're told your pizza will take 25 minutes subtract about 10 minutes from that since most of us have a 20 minute drive to get there and the cheese gets really hard on the ride home. A little bit of greasy runoff if you're the fortunate one who gets to drive to pick it up and have an extra fresh slice on the ride home. I will say that the garlic knots were gross because they are clearly pre-making them and then reheating them. There is several bins stacked next to the soda machine of garlic knots and when we had hours it tasted like stale bread. Unfortunately many small businesses have overloaded themselves by accepting Uber eats and DoorDash so they are pre-making their food which is destroying the quality. I won't ever order garlic knots again unless they change this practice. That being said the pizza was good, and the dining area was full of people so it was certainly fresh unlike the garlic knots. They're going to charge you $0.90 for a side of Parmesan cheese, and if you want crushed red pepper they're also going to charge you $0.90. to me it's excessive because the amount of cheese they give you along with the crushed red pepper is more than you would ever eat in a sitting. I'd much rather have a courtesy parmesan cheese in a small container and be charged a quarter then to be charged another dollar for bulk Parmesan that's going to end up getting thrown out. Not really sure why they don't just order the little packets and give people a couple, but overall was a good experience for my first time trying it. We'll definitely go back. I will also add the fact that you are going to get way more for your money here then you would go into Paisano's where it's over $60 for two pizzas and garlic knots (made fresh and don't taste stale though as an added bonus) but if you're looking for good quality pizza, that is not going to set your wallet on fire I would choose this over every single pizza place on SR200 any day, and most certainly will going forward. Staff was really friendly, not really quite sure what the other people reviewing this place we're talking about regarding rude staff. The lady was cordial both over the phone and in person so I would say ignore that nonsense because you're really never know what's going through somebody's head when they're leaving a shitty review. They could be having a bad day or they could have been the asshole and instigated a bad interaction. Not saying that is the case but it wasn't my experience. 8 out of 10 will...
Read moreWe were getting take out a couple of weeks ago and called in an order. The minute they picked up, we were put on hold. We sat there for over 20 minutes on hold and we were still never taken care of. So we hang up the phone and drive down there. Upon entering, it was pretty busy. We get up to the front desk and the lady is on the phone, after she gets off the phone, she doesn’t even say, “hi, how are you”. Just asks what we wanted. We stated we had been placed on hold for over 20 minutes and never got answered. We were told to, “look around” and that, “we are very busy” and, “there are many orders ahead of us”. As if that were an excuse. A rude one at that! So we give her our order and she goes to ring us out. We are then told that it would be over an hour to get a pizza and salad. So we kindly said we could not wait that long, but thank you anyways! The lady seemed to have attitude after we told her we wouldn’t be getting food with that kind of wait. And said, “ok then”. We told her to have a good night and apologized for having to take our order for nothing and her response was, “yep”. No, “sorry” or, “you too, have a good night”. Nothing like that. So we walked out and I haven’t returned since then. Mind you, we have gone here for years and have always given them the business to help support local small town businesses when we could have gone to many other big corporation pizza places. Not to mention, last time I went in there, the staff was talking about pig entrails and other graphic material, also involving dissections for about 10 minutes as I was eating my food 8 feet away. I could look past that, but the attitude and rudeness of the employee that night just rubbed me the wrong way. Especially after all the years of loyalty. They should really look into educating their staff on proper custom service etiquette, as they have none. I’ve worked in the customer service business (including food) for 30+ years, and you just don’t do that. Unfortunately I have to say, I will not...
Read moreWe were there last night. Ever since this place was sold (within the last couple of months) it has not been the same. Portions have gotten a bit smaller and their service has gone down hill. My husband had a salad with his meal, portion was super small and the dressing was so watered down, that it made his salad look like it was a salad soup. Our meals came with garlic knots, and those were not brought to us until we were almost halfway through our meal....even when we asked for them several times. Heads up, they are to be served when the salad comes!!! Everything kept getting blamed on the new computer system...WRONG! Then the final blow came when we got the bill...no warning or anything...they are now charging something like 3% of the bill and they do not tell you before hand. At first the waitress said it was the new computer and that they were working on fixing it...acted like she did not know. Then when I asked her point blank she started making excuses as to what it was and said she was going to tell them to put a sign up. Before this, used to go there 2 times a week...after last night no more. Place is going down and there are plenty of Italian restaurants around. This is not the original Pavarotti's anymore!!!!!! Folks when they start watering down the food you eat it is time to go someplace else!!!!!! Plenty of restaurants out there and they don't even charge you for...
