Wow. We ate in for dinner tonight and everything was spectacular! The garlic knots were fresh out the oven, the marinara was phenomenal, even the Caesar salad was delish with fontina cheese. As a table of three we tried the fried calamari, garlic knots, spaghetti with meatballs, chicken milenase, and the chicken corden blue. While it was all delicious, I'd recommend requesting light sauce. Our plates were pretty flooded. Everything was fresh and homemade! We were so busy eating forgot to get photos! We'll be back to work our way through the menu for sure!
Update: ordered pizza, mozz sticks, and bruschetta tonight. The bruschetta was outstanding - tons of garlic! The mozz sticks were gross. Orangeish yellow from grease and not crispy or flavorful. The marinara is outstanding. Amazing flavor. The pizza was great along the crust, but the dough at the center was so thin it was a sloppy mess. The flavor of the pizza was great. Savory pepperoni, delicious sauce, great crust at the edge. Not perfect, but I'd order pizza and...
Read moreWe had reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated as the previous party left. Only one server for 11 of us. Must have been new, very unfamiliar with the menu. She was very courteous. We waited almost an hour for the little garlic knots. They were amazing, but there weren't even 2 per person and they were all gone. They do make them fresh multiple times. It was just very disappointing to not even be able to have an extra one or two, as they are quite small. We ordered food for family at home and asked for our salads to go. Our salads never made it in the bag, unfortunately. The shrimp francaise was delicious and a very generous portion. We were there around 2 hours. Definitely not what we hoped for. I'd like to wait after they have been open a bit to train more staff and give lunch a go or at...
Read moreChanged ownership, went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. Ordered the Shrimp Scampy, Veal parmesan and Chicken parmesan all three dishes were not good. The Scampy was very, very watery. The Veal was kind of rubbery (like when you reheat meat in a microwave) the chicken parm had little taste to it. They only had one soup (chicken soup)and two kinds of teas sweet or not sweet. Come on now only Chicken soup in an Italian Restaurant (yes, this is also how I felt). When we were eating a phone order was taken that customer was told there was an additional charge for italian soups. (Go figure) The waitress was very nice and attentive, but the food was not worth what we paid and for the quality of the food we received. Sorry, but we don't recommend this restaurant not for good Italian...
