Polo Crab House LLC — Restaurant in Florida

Me and my Son were looking for some seafood locally...I have been to some of the fine eateries in the Bradenton and Sarasota area and LOVED Them...but I always feel like money needs to stsy in our local areas...Well WHAT A BIG DISSAPOINTMENT! Seafood should be fresh not frozen thawed and cooked in old oil. We odered 50.00 worth of NOTHING! Scallops, Dungeness Crabs, Talapia Fries and corn and potatoe...They have the Nerve to charge $7.00 For ONE SMALL PIECE OF FISH...CRAZY...I ASKED MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER HOW BIG WAS THIS FISH...HE TOLD ME VERY LARGE...well it was the same size as the Wal-MarT Brand...The Crabs were small and old..the meat inside was dark...and don't get me started on the butter sauce...it was like margarine soup...not pure butter..scallops were small and tasteless. This place needs to close it doors until they learn how too prepare food properly. Listen many people open shops in our communities that are not in our best interest, they now many of us won't leave our comfort zone to find and do better. I see that they let you use the EBT Card...WAKE UP PEOPLE ITS A TRAP..Why would you spend money on food for you family that you know is not up to par. I moved here from NY and My Father owned a seafood restaurant so Trust Me when I say...DON'T DO IT..Go find one of the many places available and get Fresh Whoesome food for Your Family...Now some wull read this and eat their food, to those people I say..WHY...and some people will read and say I choose to go else where, to those I say SMART CHOICE. CHOOSE WISELY!!... Below...their version of butter...

This place isn't the greatest. They overcharging you...for a pound of of shrimp it's 17-19 dollars. Isn't fair at all. If I would of known I was gonna get a little bit of things for 80 bucks I would of went to Publix. Took my money else where. Don't go here you will be highly dissatisfied with the food you get get my best advice to you is.... Just go to Publix you'll get a whole lot more then just 3 pounds of shrimp and a meal. It's worth buying raw and making...

For years, only place we eat our seafood from, their garlic sauce should be sold in stores. Food is always hot, fresh, clean and meaty all soaking in the best sauce yummy. Cost meets quality of taste, I highly recommended worth the 20 min drive from St. Pete. Polo's is the best hands down to the competition no comparison. Photos attached doesn't effect this location, there attached to a horrible hotel I stayed over. Tried to delete it...
