Let me preface this review by saying that I have worked in food service myself for several years and this is the most unpleasant experience from another restaurant chain I’ve had in quite some time. My husband and I have never been to any Popeyes before and so we decided to try it this afternoon on his one hour lunch break from work. It was just after 4 o’clock in the afternoon and not many cars were in the parking lot. We went through the drive-through and were immediately bombarded with the most confusing drive-through worker ever. Like I said before, neither of us had been to a Popeyes so we didn’t know the menu at all. When I tried to place my order— #1 “The Sandwich”—the lady on the other side rushed me through which sandwich I wanted, and what sides or drink or size of those two, but got my sandwich wrong. When I tried to correct her she tried telling me that I had told her the “right” one. Then for my husband‘s order—12c wings, 6 boneless, 6 bone-in— once again rushed us through what he wanted and how many and what sauces (which we didn’t end up getting anyway). After a very confusing few minutes of trying to order we pull up to the window and pay, and then the lady tells us to pull into a parking spot and they will bring the food right out. We sat there for 20 minutes and watched nine other cars go by the drive-through and receive both their drinks and their food while we had nothing. Eventually, we went inside to ask about our food and they said they were “just starting to make it.” When we expressed that this was our first time at any Popeyes the manager did not seem to care about their poor service and did not offer us any compensation for our wait time on my husband’s lunch break. Not only that, but when our food came, his wings were so dry he had no sauces. My sandwich alone was drenched in mayonnaise that I could not eat it. I am very upset that we spent close to $30 on such terrible service and nearly inedible food. We will never be going to another...
Read moreThis woman I assume is the manager named, Brandy was absolutely rude. When I asked about if the Strawberry Lemonade Slush contained milk she said no it didn't and they were out and only the Lemonade was defrosted. I said never mind then I'll just get the sweet tea please. As I went to pull around I could hear her through the speaker still and she was cussing and explaining how stupid I was for asking if milk came in a slushy. When I was at the window she continued cussing loudly and complaining about my question. I could hear her through the window. When I asked if she could come to the window she didn't come directly but explained that she felt it was a silly question because "they don't even have milk in the store".
I don't work there. I don't usually eat there, I don't know that. I have a dairy allergy. It is absolutely not necessary to cuss at or about a customer who simply asked a question. I can only imagine what kind of environment she is creating for people in the lobby and the employees around her if I can hear her in my car with the driver through window closed. And she's the manager?! Is this what corporate thinks is management material?
In addition to the poor customer service the food was cold and the drink was still wrong. The person who I rode with said that wasn't the first time the lady was rude when she came there before and actually tried to over charge her telling her a different price than the advertised/receipt price. I hope this person is replaced with a more responsible and suitable manager because this is completely unacceptable. I will be further escalating this issue until a proper response...
Read moreI would love to make a comment about the food, but after several failed attempts and trips to this location, I have yet to receive anything.
Online, at the store, and on the website it says they are open until 11:00 PM, but apparently the employees think they close at 9:30 PM.
This Popeyes is located on my drive home from work and this is the 4th time I've attempted to order food/get service with no luck.
This is one of the few places on this side of town that is open after 9:00 PM. I arrived around 9:50 PM in the drive-thru and was told to wait and that they would be back to take my order. 10 minutes go by and no one has returned to take my order. I drive around to the front and see about 6 employees inside just leaning around, laughing, and hanging out. The front door of the establishment was open and a car was pulled up with music blaring. If the owner sees this, I suggest checking the cameras on 1/27/22 to see how your employees act and basically throw a parking lot party while on the clock.
You really want to be excited when a new place opens nearby, is open later, and is a franchise that you enjoy, but this is unacceptable. It may as well not even exist there. After reading several of the other reviews, I think this franchise owner needs to...
