Not exactly an easy place to get to BUT well worth the side trip into the Barefoot Bay community to check out this local breakfast spot. It's a lot more homey inside than the building itself would indicate. Once inside, you're greeted as a "regular" by staff and patrons alike! Terrific choices for breakfast and my Cowboy Hash was PERFECTION! Decent "Cup of Joe" to round out the meal topped off by a freshly made biscuit. If you're in the area, GO. You'll enjoy the place, it's friendly staff and definitely the food!

I stopped in for a quick breakfast just before lunch. I was told that this place had good food and good service and that's exactly right! no wait, clean tables, wonderful waitresses, fair pricing, no masks, handicap parking in the front, open for all three meals, bathrooms very clean, everything is handicap accessible. bring the kids, bring the family, bring your friends. you will not be sorry. I will be returning.

Another great family find. I had the chicken open face melt. See picture. Great dish. My friend had the meatloaf dinner. Good to the last drop. Great service, repeat customers, friendly staff. Oh and grab a great dessert when you go. They have several to choose from. Mine was apple pie al a mode. Stop in and enjoy.

Went yesterday with a friend who suggested we go there and had been many times (my first time) I ordered the chopped sirloin with the brown gravy on the side since I brought my own Heinz 57 with me. When the server sat the plate in front of me, it had gravy all over the chopped sirloin and the server says this is the way it comes even though I showed my Heinz 57 before ordering. Something happened, whether the sever sent a wrong order to the chef or the chef ignored the request for the gravy on the side (the chef could have put the scoop of gravy in a small bowl used for applesauce) Obviously, there is a major communication problem or maybe a spat between the chef and server ( not good for RJ's) The sever was very apologetic and redid the meal and decided not to have the gravy on the side, just grilled onions and was told the onions only come in the gravy. I again declined ( I have ALWAYS had grilled onions on chopped sirloin) Again, the server was apologetic and made sure I received the grilled onions. Overall, my experience was disappointing, it seemed like I had to pull teeth to order a simple plain chopped sirloin with grilled onions. Why make it so hard? I will NOT ...

My wife and I went to the 2002 Restaurant on Saturday night about 4:30 pm, The sign on the door said Prime Rib all you can eat was a mis- print. Thank GOD. Who would of eaten more of that tasteless garbage. My wife ordered the prime rib anyway. It looked and tasted like it was micro-waved and was un- eatable. The waitress NEVER showed us a menu, My wife wanted a salad, but the waitress said the salad didn't come with the $8.99 special. When we were paying for the bill, we found out that they had an early bird special from 4-pm and my wife could of gotten a salad and dessert for $10.99, which the waitress neglected to tell us. The waitress saw all my wife's food left and said nothing. The prime rib was horrible to say the least, my food was dry and equivalent to yesterdays leftovers. I would not, under any conditions ever go there for sit in or take out. We had been there before and thought we should give it a second try, NOT. This place is only good for people who can't see or can't smell, as it is a golf cart restaurant for people who can not go out of Barefoot Bay...

The waitresses are very friendly and do a great job but the cooks always mess up the orders. We had a total of 5 guest. 3 of our skillets had no meat. The orders are not priced correctly. The skillets are supposed to be 7.49 but charge at 7.99. The omelet that was order should have been 7.99 and was charged as 8.49. Also, one of us got peanut butter, for the English muffin. It was about half a teaspoon in size, hard and tasted old. Especially due to three orders being wrong and the size of the peanut butter, there should have been no extra charge for the peanutbutter. The food taste great and is always cooked well. Overall this place is not too bad. There are not a lot of places to go so we are happy it's in the Bay. I would like to see some improvements on the pricing and the food...
