Robins Country Kitchen — Restaurant in Florida

We saw the reviews, and decided to give it a try today. There aren't a lot of tables inside, and they were all full, so we sat outside, at a picnic table. I had the fried chicken dinner with onion rings and fried okra. All of that was just great. They really know how to fry food! It was also a lot of food. The meal included a biscuit, which was also quite good. Sometimes biscuits out just aren't, but again, they know how to do it right. I probably should have asked for a box, and taken about half my food home. My wife had a burger with chips. She said the burger was great, clearly made to order, not like the pre-frozen patties. The chips were bagged, which was a surprise. Too many places can't get chips right, and the "home-made" turn out either greasy or stale, but given how Robin's did my fried food, we think they'd make fantastic chips, too. Still, nothing wrong with bagged chips. The service here was also quite good, very friendly and cheerful. Our server seemed to be genuinely happy. Robin's is convenient both to the main road and to a bicycle trail. This would be a great place for cyclists to...

Well I finally got to eat here and I must say.. I'm very very pleased...I absolutely love this place... It's better than the Diner...I had the veggie omelette and added bacon with hash browns and homemade biscuit... Although the Diner was good food also, Robins beat them by far... I'm hoping this to be a every Sunday thing for me and my ole man... He had the farmers omelette and a BLT and fries and a Reuben sandwich.... Yes he has a very big appetite😁 everything was out of this world... We also got 2 pieces of homemade key lime pie,2 pieces of homemade Boston creme cake and 2 pieces of homemade death by chocolate cake... All out of this world... Looking forward to eating here for years to come... The ladies were very sweet and on point with making sure we had what we needed...I would give this little comfortable place 10 stars if I could... Thank you for the wonderful food and the greatest dining out...

First time eating here, this place was recommended by family. We were excited to try a new diner but unfortunately we were disappointed. There was a film of what I assume is soap scum over our drinks, which was quickly corrected by another waitress. We only saw our waitress to get our order and when she brought our food. We sat outside and were taken aback at the appearance of the syrup & salt n pepper holders, they look like they haven’t been cleaned in quite a while. The food was pretty moderate, but the Tater tots were great! We probably won’t be back anytime soon, but we would like to see some changes when it comes to the cleanliness of things when we do decide to come back...
