It’s really cramped and when you come in they give you a menu run down. There were people backed up while they were explaining the menu to newbies. I don’t see a need for that as it’s a bit annoying as the menu is high up on the wall. Like I said is really cramped there with a couple of chairs and no tables. So either tail gate or take your sandwich with you to the beach or fishing etc. The food . I tried a hefty sample of grilled cheese and raspberries I think. It was ugh…. Ok I guess, but I would not order it. We ordered a club sandwich. Turned out to be a single decker ( I prefer doubles in a club)club. It was good with lots of meat. Almost too much. We ate in the car and the sandwich got really soggy quick. I’m not a lover of lettuce and too much mayo on pressed sandwiches either but it seemed to work except for the sogginess. . They claim to use almost a half pound of bacon on their blt. I’d rather see less stuff on a quality sandwich and a cheaper price. 12 or 13 dollars seems to be a going rate but on a fixed income it a factor. We will stop again at some point to try a cold sub but I think we will leave the hot sandwiches to everyone else that raves about them. I wish also that they had the capability to have a couple picnic tables handy. But as a grab and go sandwich shop it will suffice for most and worth the dealing with the awkward interior.
