Sherry's Cake Shop — Restaurant in Florida

I started Emailing someone at the cake shop at the beginning of the month, my initial email had all details including how many people it needed to serve, that I wanted buttercream and not fondant and what date I needed it by. It took a while to get a response and when I did they asked me all the questions I already answered. After going back and forth with questions I finally got a price after asking once for a total. I was then asked to call the store to place the order. When I called whoever answered had no idea what I was calling for, didn't understand what cake I was asking for so I told her if she could look at my email that may help her see what I'm wanting . She agreed and said I would hear back from her that afternoon, I still have yet to hear from anyone, that was almost a week ago.... my sons birthday is on the 15th and I've not been able to find a back up so close to his date.... VERY...

Hi I live in Ironwood ,Mi. About as far north from Pensacola as you can get. I am a pastry chef /baker by trade for the past 30 years. I needed a cake for my brother that was celebrating his 60th Birthday in Perdido Key and wanted to surprise him with it. I choose Sherrys of thr internet. Let me tell you all the high complements I recieved grom family on the cake I ordered. It wad the chocolate cake with raspberry preserve fill and cream chees icing. Also ecpertly decorated with a picture I emailed to them. My oldest brother who lives in Pensacola said he wish he knew about the cake shop years ago. So from one baker/cake decorator to another ....very well done. If I pr we ever need another cake in Pensacola we will definitely choose Sherrys Cake Shop ! Jeff Gallo ...

I purchased a custom makeup cake for my mom's birthday and it was nothing like I expected. The cake was very old fashioned as well as the decorations. My bf referred me to her place of business and they are very friendly but I think that they need more education in the cake department. The cake that I saw in the portfolio did not look like the cake I purchased. Although it was a sheet cake the decorations could've been a whole lot better. I paid the money because the cake was made but I will never order another cake from the legendary cake shop...
