We came here today (Tuesday) with our 3 kids. I was a bit skeptical if we should stay because everyone there already seemed to have drinks but no food and appeared to be waiting awhile. We were sat right away and brought drinks, we ordered appetizers and entrees together. We got our appetizers and a kids meal after about 20 mins but it would be another 50 mins or so before we got our 3 entrees. The entrees were smaller than average for the price and just ok. Hot, but not great, not terrible. Never once did our waitress (I only saw two workers there at all) come to check on us, explain the wait, ask to refill our drinks, or clear our dishes. I sent my family out to the car to wait while I paid because it took so long. All of the diners seemed less than pleased as well. We overheard another party being told there was a mandatory 20% gratuity, which seemed made up as I doubted anyone was getting tipped tonight with how bad and slow the service was. All in all we will not go back. It was way too much of a wait and hassle with our kids for the food to not even be that great. I know places are short staffed but with zero communication from anyone working there I am less understanding. I am a former server myself and communication with guests...
Read moreI recently had a delightful lunch at this restaurant in Gulf Breeze. The ambiance was pleasant, and the two Thai waitresses were very welcoming and attentive. We ordered the Thai Beef Stir-Fried Noodles and the Beef Noodle Soup. The dishes arrived with an inviting aroma that made us eager to dig in.I had the Beef Noodle Soup, which had a rich and flavorful broth that was truly commendable. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was a comforting dish. My daughter had the Stir-Fried Noodles, and she found the taste to be excellent as well. However, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement:Beef Texture: The beef in both the noodle soup and the stir-fried noodles was quite tough, making it hard to chew. It would be great if the meat could be cooked to a more tender consistency.Rice Noodles: The rice noodles were not soaked properly, leaving some parts still hard and undercooked. Ensuring the noodles are fully softened would greatly enhance the dining experience.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the service. With a few adjustments, this restaurant could become a favorite spot for Thai cuisine lovers in the area. I look forward to visiting again and seeing these...
Read moreWe have mixed emotions after trying this restaurant for the first time. Our waitress was cordial, accommodating and answered our questions. We tried a few appetizers and they were all pre-frozen. Nevertheless, the dumplings were very good and we will certainly order them again. The spring rolls, however, left a bit to be desired and I have had better ones from the Dollar General frozen food chest. For my entrée, I had the Tropical Fried Rice and it was delicious. My wife had the Combo Phad Thai and she enjoyed it, as well. However, she paid extra for the Combo version because it had shrimp and there was only one shrimp on the plate. We asked one of the staff (not out waitress) if there should not be more and we were a bit insulted by her response. Pretty chintzy on the shrimp for the extra fee. For dessert, we had the pineapple sticky rice, which was not as good as I have had elsewhere. Finally, we took an order of the Thai donuts to go, and they had a bizarre after taste. I would go back and get the dumplings and the fried rice, but would be cautious to avoid the pre-frozen items that they buy from a food...
