I don't often eat at the resort restaurants because they are pricey. But we were tired after driving all day. First off service was very good, especially considering one server was very new. I was feeling hungry so I ordered the combination Grouper, Shrimp & Scallops grilled dinner with lemon basil risotto and asparagus. The wait time was not very long, so that was good. The grouper, shrimp, and scallops were all overcooked. The risotto was very sticky and gummy. The asparagus was pretty good. I did eat the seafood but not the risotto. Worst $39 I have spent in a while. My wife ordered the fettuccine and said it was just OK, nothing spectacular. Similar to any cafe or diner you might get fettuccine at. Not real Italian restaurant quality, but we didn't expect that. It was easy and convenient but that was all. Again the service was good. BlueGreen doesn't have a lot of properties with restaurants but this was definitely not BlueGreen quality from our experiences.

Happy and disappointed. They were out of the wine we had originally asked for. The Tuna Tataki was well seared and well seasoned but the presentation was truly bad. It was soaked/drenched in sauce. The sauce was good but it over took the flavor of the tuna. If they would have been better in small long plate. The lemons were cut in a way we couldn’t even squeeze them. The special was chicken with a blueberry sauce, risotto, and asparagus. This was all very good, especially the risotto. The blueberry lemon cake was also very good. Our server was professional and quick to help.

Dining at Tide Restaurant and Lounge has been an excellent opportunity! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The menu is filled with flavorful dishes, beautifully presented and prepared with care. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or a special evening out, the atmosphere is both classy and welcoming. The service is attentive, and the staff make you feel right at home. Dining here has been an excellent opportunity to enjoy great food, unwind, and make special memories truly a hidden gem worth revisiting!

5 of us celebrated Mothers Day at The Tides for their Mothers Day Buffet. A mistake. First problem was upon arrival the front desk was asked where the restaurant was. Was told breakfast was over (it was 11am). A bit taken back we asked about the buffet as we had even called to confirm hours. Finally they got some correct info and directed us. The area was almost empty. No character. Was told someone would be found to get a drink order. That took some time. Was told twice while we waited to go help ourselves. We explained we were waiting for drink orders… Got into the “line” (there was none) a bit hesitant as it was an extremely short table of food. Had to get our plates and silverware and proceed. Salad with ranch or Italian, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, fried shrimp, grilled shrimp, mashed potatoes, fried Brussels, and prime rib station that had some rolls. Dessert was peach cheesecake and chocolate banana pudding. Mimosas for the Moms.$40 pp Was totally shocked as an ad had read: “MOTHER'S DAY LUNCH BUFFET: 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. seatings available at Tides Restaurant at Sheraton Bay Point Resort, 4114 Jan Cooley Drive, Panama City Beach. Buffet includes raw bar, salads, carving stations with roasted sirloin of beef and honey glazed ham, pasta station, omelet and waffle station, hot buffet, and dessert, plus mimosas and Bloody Marys, as well as kids buffet and Cookie Decoration Station for kids of all ages.” Now it is possible that was an old ad we found on internet. But for the same cost the offerings were totally reduced. And to make matters worse it was sub par. Eggs cold. Bacon not cooked enough. Sausage dry, frozen biscuits not fresh, gravy congealed, couldn’t eat the fried shrimp as it was dried up and cold. No seasoning on grilled shrimp. Mashed potatoes were ok, Brussels sprouts mushy and cold. The prime rib was good. The cheesecake good. The pudding was gross. We are just thankful that we enjoyed being together. But it was not a good experience and it was money wasted. This is not good exposure for the new owners Bluegreen Resort. If you can’t do it right don’t...

The restaurant itself is nice. It's small but beautiful and overlooks the water. The service we had was good, but I wouldn't say it was above expectation, if anything, it was below expectation. For a restaurant that we knew we were spending over $125 at, I would expect the food to have been much better. The only things that were good were my husband's pasta, the broccolini, and my daughter's hotdog and fries. I had the $40 filet and it came out sitting on mashed potatoes (which it doesn't say there's gravy on them on the menu) and that gravy covered my steak. It was like the filet was treated like chicken fried steak. Don't get me wrong, the cut was awesome but all I could taste was the gravy and the potatoes since they were all over the bottom of my steak. I did try to wipe it off. I love a good steak and I felt like it was mistreated here. I was asked multiple times within a minute or two that the server was picking up if we wanted a box and I told her we were leaving the next day. Once would have been sufficient for that question...I had just gotten done explaining that the steak didn't meet my expectations but that I had no issue paying or anything. I just felt like the menu should be more detailed or maybe that the customers should have been notified. I thought the chef may have been newer and she corrected us and said no, this is how we always do it but I'll let him know. It just wasn't a great experience. We also got the calamari, and it was not seasoned at all. The sauce with it was almost like mayo. But, we're from Southeast Louisiana, so maybe we're just used to food with more flavor. We were not...

Gross Gross Gross. The server area has hundreds of fruit flies dead on the ceiling. roaches everywhere. every back area is nasty with what looks like years of gross buildup in every corner. nothing labeled or covered. the batter sits there with no cover on the bottom shelf, everything above drips into it. Cresent cannot be trusted to run anything. 20 managers walk that area everyday and are BLIND to fixing anything! They pay the servers below minimum wage then bring them in for 1 hour or more to set up the buffet instead of hiring a properly paid person. (Thats illigal) thats why your buffet is gross and never kept up. that's why your tables and glassware and silverware are gross. They don't polish. they don't clean. the dish pit is Gross!! they never change the water. every tea urn and coffee urn has slime inside them cause they don't properly clean anything. The beer coolers are all broke full of the worst smelling hot beer imaginable. they are happy sending us into those coolers despite the smell to grab all those amazing old nasty beverages you are being served. The employees are dead inside. The Managers are full of pride. The Fall...
