Wendy's — Restaurant in Florida

My blood is boiling and I am shaking I am so disgusted and fed up with this location! Terrible Customer Service and by far the Worst Wendy's I have ever been to! Do yourself a favor and save your money and don't eat here! First of all the team members they hire look like drug addicts and have no intelligence to them whatsoever. They should instead be hiring people that idk maybe can pass a drug test. Second off the management is crooked and they act like they know it all. The customer is never correct because they don't make any mistakes at this Wendy's and when they make your food wrong even though there was no other people at the restaurant, they demand you bring back the item for them to inspect and keep instead of taking the customers word on it and giving it to the customer since they are going to throw it out anyways. Maybe make sure you take the extra minute to make the food correctly like as if you were cooking a meal for your mom. Would you give her cold food that is made incorrectly? Also, they have Oatmeal bars on the menu but this location insists on not selling them in the morning. I dont understand because it is a breakfast item. Why have something on the menu you never serve? Whoever the male morning manager is, they are a very rude and ignorant person. I hope all who read this take the warning and don't give them your business. I will be calling corporate later to complain about this experience. P.S this is not my first bad experience with this Wendy's. It has taken multiple bad experiences to be fed up...

Subway review. NOT Wendy's! Rudeness overload! The guy working there obviously needs to work somewhere that he doesn't have to worry about dealing with people! We got there and got in line behind the ONLY other person in the store. (On the left side of the counter.) We were talking to each other and not really paying attention, when we heard, quite rudely, "if you want to get waited on, you have to move to the other end of the counter!" I looked up and noticed that, in fact, this Subway was situated backward from any other one I'd been in. I guess because I was already a bit miffed, I told him that. He said I was wrong. All Subways were like that! I'll admit, that brought out a bit of a grump in me, so I told him I haven't been to ALL the subways...just the 2 other ones in North Fort Myers and the ones in Peoria Illinois. He told me I was wrong!

THAT'S when I decided to go back out into the POURING rain, rather than eat there, and drive back to the Subway by Winn Dixie in North Fort Myers! (Where I was greeted with a friendly "Hello, welcome to Subway!" Believe me, it will be raining in h_ll before I go back there! Do yourself a favor. Drive west on Bayshore a few miles and get great subs along with friendly service. Life is too sort to be treated like that!

I have held off from reviewing this place in hopes that it would improve but in reality the close proximity of this place to my house is the only reason I continue to put up with it. The food for the most part is pretty standard but Wendy's is usually pretty good about quality control for it's stores.

The problem is the service and as of today, the cleanliness of the restaurant. While I was waiting almost twenty minutes for one sandwich, I went to sit down in a booth and noticed that it, as well as the surrounding booths, we're covered in flies.

I understand that this is Wendy's is attached to a truck stop and given my experiences with restaurants attached to gas stations, they generally are not as nice, however, this is still a fairly new place so my expectations are a little higher.

But I digress, back to the wait time issue. If this had been an isolated incident, I wouldn't care, things happen but this is a constant. I was in the drive-thru on one occasion where it took 45 mins and there have been several other instances of extended wait times.

I will say that staff is usually very friendly and apologetic but something needs to be done to correct the kitchen processes and procedure that are causing this issue. I may still come here but after today it will probably be a rare occasion...
