Angelo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Folsom

Beware the owner posted a response claiming they would make it right. See below! Then when going back and giving them the opportunity to make it right the owner claims that's not him, it's some third party company he hired that post response on his behalf and he's not honoring it. Very poor decision and business practice.

So now that charge will go in dispute! Tried to be nice and reasonable but owner did absolutely NOTHING!

Very Very, very disappointed with the pizza yesterday July 5th for multiple reasons, especially after going out of my way to go there.

The pizza was a soupy, sloppy, saucy mess. Ended up with sauce on my clothes as it was so sloppy.

The pizza was unprofessionally cut as if a child did it, some little, tiny pieces some huge, more than double the size of the tiny pieces.

The sauce tasted totally different (off) from prior pizzas and repeated on me all night, from just 1 piece.

(It was complete opposite of the prior pizza which just may have been best pizza I ever had in my life.) As I praised it all week and why I went out of my way to get the pizza last night!

We have gotten pizzas here for years both under the current management and prior management. In fact been ordering the same thing weekly.

So my guess is gotta know who's working now to know if I'm gonna get a pizza.

Can't afford to pay for pizzas nobody wanted to eat, between the mess, taste and sizing.

If I had time to return it last night I would have. But certainly didn't have time to drive back (another 30 minute round trip) and wait another 1/2 hr on top for remake when had somewhere to be. Especially after having to change clothes, from the sauce on the clothes dilemma.

So ended up microwaving some other food instead, so could get to our destination.

Didn't want to put the charge in dispute, as I understand everybody has a bad day or makes a mistake but I also understand places need to make it right.

So, if you are willing to make good on it I would certainly be more than willing to update/upgrade the review.

NORMALLY, I'd rate them a 5... Angelos is my family and I's got to pizzeria. My parents order pizza (at their house) at least once a week, I order about every 2 weeks-month.. I just ordered the ravioli dinner and I'd definitely complain (but I won't)! You get 6 very cheap raviolis, like the .99 ones u can buy from Shoprite.. Now, let's move on. The garlic bread, burnt and didn't taste like garlic and was super hard... The broccoli bites, mozzarella sticks, cheesesteaks and pizza are great though! I may just stick to those choices next time... I still love Angelos but I now know not to spend $10.25 on a "dinner" meal that would feed my 8 year old daughter.... That meal is definitely NOT worth the money... IMO... I'll go to shoprite and buy a bag of .99 raviolis...

Nice local spot. Overall, the food I ordered is good. I know what i like on the menu and generally go with that. I like their cheesesteaks for the most part. Taste alright, but could have used a tad bit more me or evened out better. I like their wings and fry special. Definitely different wing set up then most spots, but that's why I like them. A bit of a switch up. Pizza is always good. Service is on point. Staff is friendly, and even the delivery drivers are cool and prompt. Build nit I a basic small shop look.
