Stoc-Up — Restaurant in Folsom

Been forever since I was here last, so I figured to give them a try. Had trouble finding an updated menu online. So I went in-store to look at menu board. Went with an easy / basic order. I got a bacon cheesesteak and an order of cheese fries. The sandwich was average. The cheese really wasn't melted or incorporated in the sandwich. The cheese fries were a disappointment. The fries themselves were fine as a basic frie, but the cheese given was horrible. Cheese was not on the fries but in a small plastic container and cold. You couldn't even pour it out on the fries. When paying, I asked if they had any take out menus, which they didn't. How you supposed to call in an order if can't find an updated menu online and they don't have takehome menus. May try their breakfast again sometime soon and see if that's still good or not. It's been a long time since I had their breakfast items.

Stoc up, what's going on? I have been getting food here periodically for years and was always happy. A couple of days ago we ordered three sandwiches, the American Hoagie we ordered was a ham hoagie. I called and politely told them that they got the order wrong. They offered to make the right sandwich but that would have required a 20 minute drive each way and we needed to get back to work. Ok, fair enough, these things happen. Today we ordered three sandwiches, 2 were cheese steaks both with mayo one also with ketchup. No mayo and no ketchup. And we found the meat was overcooked and dry on both. Very disappointed. I know you can do better...

Well I couldn’t really tell you since my boyfriend and I went there on a Saturday night at 7pm and the girls working said the kitchen was closed. My boyfriend politely walked out even though the place is advertised to close at 8. When I called and questioned this… the girl was argumentative and proceeded to tell me that if she were ordering food that she would know that the place would probably shut down 20 min before closing. This would be great advice except what’s the excuse for being turned away an hour before closing? I won’t waste my time...
