Friday fish fry- our party of 3 came in during prime time, there were two open 6-top tables in the front and a half dozen+ seats at the bar. Waitresses were quick to get initial drink order, the remainder of our party (1) arrived, and we waited. Waitress came back in a reasonable amount of time to take the orders. Guests finish drinks, are offered replacements.... and a different waitress double checks the guest's needs for drinks.🤔 The order is lost🤔 10m+ pass. No drinks, ask the waitress about them- another 15+m goes by, still no drinks.🥺 Appetizers came, and were cooked well. Wood fire cooked pretzels were fresh and tasty, and breaded mini hotdogs were "okay" guest would not re-order. When the drinks do come the waitress reassured us they were doubles since it took so long...😬 They sure were.😥(nobody in the party desired a double) Another wood fire oven would REALLY help. (One 24"-36" oven just doesn't seem like enough) They seem to become overwhelmed quickly. All of the food came at once served by 3 people maybe, it was a whirlwind 🌪️ of confusion and fried food. So many people brought out food that nobody brought silverware, tartar sauce, or napkins... Had to call them back... twice. Then the mains. Perch seemed like ocean perch not lake perch, by the size of the fillets and the dry -ness/ lack of flavor. (Did not advertise as lake perch) Guest stated the fillets were also 'mushy' inside. Walleye parm. Fillet seemed thin, 🤷🏼‍♂️ and a little on the greasy side. But was tasty. Coleslaw and beans were both on the sweet side, with no one finishing the portions or commenting on the quality. Onion rings were good. Done well, with good breading. The shrimp were noted as "Very Good" Fresh, and nicely breaded. Very plump, and juicy. Sweet potato fries were done well with nice breading as well. Overall lack of communication by waitstaff with the patrons regarding time, and forgotten orders was unacceptable. lack of oversight by the new owner (having side conversations at the end of the bar and not paying attention to his manager)- (sweating and stressing the compounding mess, and visibly irritated customers) More than one group left before being served, commented they expected the poor service, and ling wait- Several groups visibly struggled to get wait staffs attention to pay bills. Decent food, but the staff really needs to up the game in regards to communication and attentiveness to the guests. Let people know what to expect for wait times, and check-in with them. Don't double pour without asking. Wont be back for a while.

The pizza is fabulous. The firewood oven made it. Cowboy hamburger was great tasting. Their BBQ sauce was really good. The best sweet potato fries I've had, little crunch and soft in the middle. Pretzel app was great, little pricy for the 3 sticks but tasted great. Beer cheese 😃 The veggie app was really, really good. Great tasting variety of broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, cheese sticks, onion rings, and fries. Could have put a few more onion rings in it. Over all it was amazing. Certainly going back again and again.

I frequent coming back here everytime I visit town, I highly recommend their burgers and appetizers 🍔. Visit at night time and you can see their large lit up outline of Michigan's Upper Peninsula in their tree line of the back patio

Came for dinner on a Friday night with my wife. It was busy so we chose to sit at the bar. We did not have an expectation for perfect service, we are very reasonable patrons.

After sitting for 10 minutes without even being welcomed by any staff, the bartender walked by us over 10 times before saying hello or offering us a beverage. When we did finally get offered a drink, my wife wasn’t sure what wine she wanted as we were not offered a drink menu or told what was available, the bartender response was “OKAY!” and she didn’t return for over 10 minutes.

We never got a chance to order food, as we sat with one drink for over 30 minutes before asking for our bill. My wife even had to tell the bartender that the group next to us wanted to order because she never even attended to them once.

We used to really like coming here for date night. But I would struggle to find an excuse to comeback when we didn’t feel welcomed. I would have gave today ZERO STARS, but that was...

Overall my experience was good at Breezy Point Bar. I went with a large party and we were seated almost immediately which is great. Orders were taken quickly, and appetizers came out shortly after. The cheese curds were tasty with a wonderful texture. The fried mushrooms also held up well. My main dish was the cod sandwich with steak fries. Presentation was average for bar food. The steak fries were tasty with a good texture, and paired well with the tartar sauce. The sandwich was average, leaning towards good. The fish didn't have much flavor but has a good crunch. The bread was overly toasted to the point where it was way too tough to bite through.

I would certainly like to try some other food on the menu, as the pizza looks particularly good. Otherwise, we had a pleasant time for...
