The Church Brewery — Restaurant in Ford River Township

First, Love this brewery! The space is a lot of fun being a church still. The outside, we didn't get to try BUT looked awesome. Also, the owner is super friendly, welcoming, and we really liked the back story on how this brewery started. I'll let you ask for yourself. Maybe the owner can put up some photos and some stories to share. :-)

It was very dark outside and not clear where we could come in. We did come towards close, which the hours in Google maps did not match reality at the time.

We got a flight with a west coast, hazy, blood orange, and a wheat. To be honest the beers were ok but there's a lot of potential there. The blood orange was maybe over done with orange flavoring. The hazy was good but didn't taste like a hazy. The west coast and the wheat kinda tasted too much alike which was weird. Maybe there is just some growth needed on the brew process. Lots of potential.

We did want to try more but we were told it was last call and didn't want to be rude and ask for more after hours.

Unfortunately, we are a long trip to here so we cannot come back often but would definitely come back. We also would recommend and for a large gathering this...

We heard about this brewery a few weeks ago and had to check it out. It is beautiful. It's right inside the church, clean as can be, and spacious. The owner, Sarah, was working. She welcomed us with a smile and shared some of the church memories. You can see that they did careful planning to make this place fun. Great brew selection, a handicapped ramp on the side. TVS above the bar area. It is large enough for big groups to come. Sarah had great background music playing. Our party each had different selections of brews and we all liked them. Excellent beer. Had a chili beer that honestly had bite to it - which was AWESOME. Also, the atmosphere was unparalleled, I think this church closed down with all the furniture and fixings in it and they just added a bar and a bunch of taps.
