Blue Hereford — Restaurant in Ford

We're truckers...driven past several times running loads. This time we knew we'd have time to stop on our return. Google told us they were closed Monday and I was disappointed so I called to verify. They are currently open Mondays until 2, I believe. Short staffed, as is common now, but waitress was sweet. Probably spelling wrong, but Cacia was her name. We liked it here...not fake kitschy decorated and basic, stick to your ribs food at moderate price. Nice, hometown atmosphere. I got steak and eggs with hashbrowns and biscuit with gravy. Steak was so tender and well flavored. I couldn't finish all mine so we got a box and had the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns heated up in the truck for breakfast the next day. We...

Under new management. I can never get this restaurant to answer their phone. And when I do call and they finally do answer their phone, they hang up on me I know that they have their hours posted here on Google, but that is not always the not always the times they are open. We never know when they are open. I think if they are not busy maybe they close early? That's bad for business in my opinion. We live out of town so we always get to go orders. But if they can't answer the phone we can't order and support this restaurant. I will leave a better review when when I do get to eat at this restaurant. Place was empty when we arrived, should have been a hint to us. Waitress didn't even know what Diet Pop they had. We didn't get silverware until we asked. Salad bar is a joke. We both ordered Chicken Fried Steak. Mashed Potatoes were cold, and you could tell they are from a box. Gravy was bad!! I ate maybe 5 bites of meat, and didnt touch anything else!!
