Horrible service flies kept landing on our food very hot in here like they have no a/c way overpriced for the quantities of food you better ask what they have available before you look over the menu for thirty minutes didn't have available anything I really wanted but don't worry you'll have plenty of time to look on the menu because we stood at the door 10 minutes before we were told by another customer already eating we were suppose to seat ourself but after we sat we waited for a menu and when we did get a menu we waited another twenty minutes to order drinks that didn't come out until our food came and items were missing if you getting the chicken fried steak the don't have mashed potatoes and the white gravy they did serve was watered down as well as the ranch dressing the waitresses are very young and have no idea how to be a waitress or a hostess at the register we were left standing there another twenty minutes before we got to pay our bill NEVER AGAIN WILL WE STOP HERE ON OUR WAY...

First time in Arkansas, arrived in Foreman AR., to pay respects to my great grandparents and decided to eat at The Wooden Spoon, met the owners Jeb & Mrs. Smith which happen to be some of kindest people you want to meet, the staff were just as friendly and professional. Their hospitality made me feel like I knew them already! The fried green tomatoes were the best I ever ate, lightly battered and perfectly cooked, nothing scorched or greasy. The grilled veggies were the same delicious. The grilled catfish didn't have a little hint of a pond or lake it tasted awesome to my pallet! So into my meal I overheard Mrs. Smith answering a question about the pies, when she said homemade! Some told me screw the diet live life with no regrets! And ordered the Buttermilk pie!!! As some people say OMG!!! Honestly I wanted to yell out a big wah hoo! O my gosh. This place is awesome. Great lunches for a great price. I go here every time I visit my family in Winthrop, AR. I live in WA State and so miss this place for lunch. Goid amount if food. Very polite and hospitable. Will go back here every time I come that way. Fresh food made daily. You just don't see this up here...
