After being turned away from another local diner on the main drag, my wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant. We're glad we did! We were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken. The coffee and waters came out shortly after and our food orders taken. My wife got the homestyle cinnamon french toast and I got the meatlovers skillet with extra hashbrowns. Much to our surprise, our food was on our table in less than 10 minutes. The French toast was prepared just the way my wife likes it, and her eggs and bacon were just right as well! My skillet was hot and there was plenty of bacon and sausage to boot! If we are ever in the area again and need breakfast, we'll avoid the counter service place on the main drag and go directly to the River Front!

Our experience was unfortunately not great when we visited, we understand that places are understaffed and the service is slow but the food itself was simply ‘okay’ and we felt the portions we received seemed small for the price, which was surprising based on other reviews. The food itself was honestly bland and the sausage gravy tasted ‘watered’ down as if they thinned it to stretch its use. We always try to give places a second chance and maybe this was an off day but this isn’t a place I’d recommend based on our experience.

We're from out of town... we have eaten here 3 times in the past while visiting in Ft Atkinson. This 4th visit didn't go well. It was on the busy side of a day in the place BUT not full. We were seated for 15 to 20 minutes before being approached by a bus girl that asked if we had been taken care of yet - no we hadn't. She asked what we wanted to drink & then brought our drinks a few minutes later. 10 more minutes with no other service. I asked for to go cups for our drinks. A few more minutes went by with no service. Having been there now for 30 minutes I left some money on the table along with our beverages and we left the restaurant empty handed and...

The food is good. It's a little better than your average family restaurant. The service is also respectable. The owners have a few different restaurants that they have opened over the last few years which are all great places to eat . The only criticism I can give is that when the other restaurants were getting started, I feel like they didn't give this restaurant as much attention. Now I noticed the owners are giving it attention again and changing things up. We enjoy coming here for breakfast a few times a month and would love for it to stick around as long as possible.
