Iron Horse Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Branch

I was searching for a place to order lunch from not to far from my work but far enough away to enjoy a nice backroad drive, and Iron Horse popped up. I saw that I could order online, which is perfect since I have to talk to people all day. Food photos looked delicious, and prices were generously low. Placed my order, 15 min and it would be ready, and that was the length of the drive, so I headed that way. I found it nestled away in a small town across from a small gravel lot where I parked. It looked like an old barn from the outside, with a small enclosed area where the door was. Upon entering, I was greeted with a small little bar, pretty empty as it was only a little after noon when I got there, but with a few folks sitting at the bar. The bartender noticed me as soon as I walked in, and she ensured she was at the right spot at the bar to greet me as I made my way back. She was very pleasant, and provided me a bag straight away once I told her I had an online order. Food was hot and ready to go. Drove 15 minutes back to work, and the food is nice and hot coming out of the bag, as each dish was put into it's tray then wrapped in aluminum foil. I LOVED this place!! I loved the atmosphere. Our bartender was so amazing. The food was excellent. This is the perfect “dive” bar. I’d love to come back to experience the night life. I’ve never had such a good burger. It was the best burger I’ve had in a really long time. Fried mushrooms were so good too. I come to Indiana once or twice a year to visit my aunt and uncle.
