Just got back from dinner prime time on a Friday evening. 4 adults and the bill came to just about $70 with drinks and two desserts. The only mildly off-putting thing was that we had ordered fried ice cream and got the cheesecake chimi instead. That being said it was a happy accident because that thing was pure decadence! I mean, flawless. Same goes for their refried beans, to be honest. Oh, and did I mention how tender the lengua (tongue) was in the Street Tacos? Our server was super quick and efficient and didn't bat an eyelash when we ordered dessert after he showed up with the bill.
I'm honestly impressed with how quickly the kitchen was getting the food out. It was packed! Every table full, including outdoor seating, and people still standing in line to get in. There were only two servers and it was all hands (and family members) on deck. Truly a family run, close knit crew. Well, it looks like we have our go-to restaurant in our new hometown. I can't remember the last time I went out and had zero complaints or criticisms about a place.
PS- definitely going back without the kids to have some much needed margarita time...

At this point we noticed the entire kitchen staff standing in a group staring at our table and laughing and whispering with the server. One even pointed at us at one point. Fearing they had done something undesirable to the food, it wasn't eaten and sent back. The manager assured us that someone just probably said something funny. Guess it was something that kept them staring at our table and whispering and laughing for the rest of our meal. The manager did take that dish off the bill. Won't be back. Not a good way to...
Read moreMy husband & I was doing some work in the Ft. Branch area & decided to eat here. We had such a great experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We ordered the tacos carne asada plate. Everything tasted homemade and comforting.
The complimentary chips and salsa were crispy and warm, with the salsa having just the right balance of spice and freshness — the perfect way to start the meal. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly and quick. We never had to ask for anything, our server was on point!!
The colorful tile tables and casual atmosphere made it feel like a true local gem. We will definitely be coming back soon — highly recommend this spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican...
