Matt's Place — Restaurant in Fort Collins

Couldn’t rate this lower. I’ve given this place a couple chances but it’s quite literally the worst service in town. Went here a while back, one person in our group didn’t want to drink, and the blonde abrupt waitress felt it necessary to stand there and try to convince him to take a shot. Disturbing and unnecessary. We just went back and both waitresses ignored our table. I could tell a lot of people in the restaurant establishment were frustrated. We had to go to the bar to order anything. Multiple tables showed up after us….by the time we got our water, the people were finishing their meals. These “ladies” are absurdly unprofessional, more focused on getting drunk than serving customers, but also are making this potentially great place look horrible. I’ve grown up in this town and have served myself, NOTHING has been as bad as this place. Don’t waste your money. I ended up bussing both of our tables. Ignorant catty females. Not to mention they chased us outside asking if we paid our tab. They can’t even take the time to bring us water but can cause a scene when all they had to do was look and see our tab was paid on the counter. Ridiculous. Disgusting. Drunk staff. Cannot tell you to stay away from this...

Overall Matt’s place would be considered a “Biker Bar”- but it’s not only that. Very laid back atmosphere with amazing bartenders. They are all funny and pretty dang sweet and on top of everything! The food has always been delicious and priced well!

They have Karaoke Saturday nights from (8?)9pm- Midnight. Get there a bit early if you need some liquid courage to sing!

They have multiple pool tables- an outdoor covered patio where the bartenders will swing by and ask you if you’d like another drink. They also have a dedicated darts room!

Multiple TVs fill the walls. There are tables to sit at and a few booths in the back that fill up quick. Tables will be moved slightly for nights with Music or karaoke to have a dance floor space. Long bar with seating there as well. Great priced drinks. Full parking on site- which is something you don’t get in Old Town!

Overall a nice bar welcoming to anyone and everyone!

Depends on the day and time but it can go from empty to packed- try out a couple different times and days to see...

Just had breakfast at Matt’s for the first time. Ordered a Coke and it tasted horrible. Asked for another one. Bartender said sometimes the grenadine leaks into the fountain boxes. Brought another coke out. It was just as bad. Asked to switch to Mt. Dew, it was undrinkable. Asked if they had anything in a can? Only had ginger ale. Asked if they had orange juice. Yep, but it comes from the gun as well. So I passed on orange juice. Gave up and asked for water. Bartender filled it from the gun as well. Yep, it was gross also. Guessing they don’t clean the gun very often!

Food finally showed up after 30 min wait. I ordered a chicken fried steak skillet. What was delivered was a chicken fried steak and eggs. Wasn’t going to wait another 30 min for what I actually ordered. Do yourself a favor and drive past this place like the other thousands of...
