I do not leave many reviews; When I do, it’s because something was really bad or beyond amazing. I can say that the Fort Bar and Grill was BEYOND AMAZING!! I stopped by there on the 4th of July and was greeted with huge friendly smiles. It was packed when I got there, and I was told that food was taking 45 minutes or so, but the beer would be cold while I waited. I want to personally thank the amazing owners for running this place like the family-run business it is. They took time away from their family to be open on the 4th of July while many other businesses were closed. I felt like one of their family the entire time I was there. And… Regarding the food, I would have waited much longer than 45 minutes for the Amazing pulled pork...

The Fort was a fun place to eat at! Smelled smokey-but it is a bar so that’s to be expected. The furniture, layout, design was all so fun and cowboy-frontierish. Menu was simple but with lots of unique topping options! I ordered the Jalapeño cream cheese raspberry hamburger, my sister got the mushroom Swiss burger, and my friend got the black and bleu burger. All gave very high reviews on the quality of fresh ingredients and good taste! Sweet potato fries and normal fries were PERFECT! Crisp outside and delicious inside. Not soaked in oil for days. Fresh and yummy! Owner and cook were very nice and accommodating. Good...

The hostess at our RV campground recommended this place for us to get a bite to eat. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back the next day. Everyone that worked there were very friendly and our dinners both days were delicious. We were there on a Saturday and my husband won a chance at the Queen of Hearts game, he didn't win but it was a fun thing for a couple of our of towner's. The bartender offered us advice on places to eat in the Mount Rushmore area and he was very personable. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back for...

Amazing atmosphere, great food, good drinks. New owners have done an exceptional job on the place and have really turned it around! There is also no issues with my service dog which is much appreciated. They're the only bar in town, but they're the best in the entire area.

Food was so so good. The chipotle aioli was out of this world, and the buffalo chicken sandwich was the best I've had in years. We went during at noon on a Saturday and it was busy but we didn't wait long for food. Staff was super nice. We've already planned a trip back.

Burgers were great and kids liked the chicken tenders. Surprised by the decent beer selections for a small town. Service was fantastic with frequent check ins and over the top kindness. Would definitely go back!
