I visited Shipley Donuts on 2/2/2025 and had an incredibly disappointing experience. When I went through the drive-thru, we were the only car in line, yet there was so much yelling in the background that I had to repeat my simple four-donut order four times. When we got home, our order was incorrect.
I called the store to resolve the issue, and the first person I spoke with refused to listen and kept insisting that a buttermilk donut and a cinnamon roll were the same thing. Then she hung up on me. When I called back to speak to a manager, I was placed on hold and then hung up on again. On my third attempt, I spoke with a gentleman who continuously talked over me despite my requests for professional communication. He kept saying "maâam" repeatedly and would not let me speak.

Read moreWould give them a Negative review if I could.. My mother purchased a e-gift card directly from the website for her grandkids.. 2 boys aged 4 and 5.... she sent me the email that had the gift card number and other items attached to it. I showed the email to the store employees and they couldn't figure it out. They got the manager, with no luck, they then called corporate and no luck either.. what company doesn't know how to use there own gift card!? Like for real????!! Meanwhile while we waited for an answer, they didn't even offer us a donut for the inconvenience they caused us.. they wanted my contact info, which I gave. They said they would reach back out and never did.. its been 3 plus weeks and no answers as to why I can't use there own gift card in there own store...
I will never ever support a business like this.. neither should you!..
Screw them and screw the way they handle customer issues...
Remember that there are way better donut places...
