Very nice place with fantastic service and great food! I have been procrastinating stopping here for awhile now and am glad I finally did. I was welcomed by a cozy atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. They are also not lazy as the place was decorated very nicely for Halloween. The person that waited on me was very pleasant and helpful. Without asking she also brought out samples of their sauce with fresh bread to help make a decision. The sauces are tomato based and in my opinion very tasty and well thought out. This is Mon Valley BBQ as advertised. Please ignore the less than perfect other reviews from customers who didn't do their research before ordering. The sauces are very good. Everything I saw and ordered was cooked with love over a indoor wood burning open pit. The smells emanating from this place have always been and were amazing. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and ghost pepper fries and am very impressed with the quality. Also the prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes. Do not eat breakfast before coming here! You will not leave broke or hungry. Please stop in and patronize this wonderful business. I will be back practically every weekend moving forward!

Found this gem after I took my son to Triple Bs farm. Its exactly what you think an old school BBQ joint would look like. They are only open til the food runs out. I ordered the half chicken, kielbasa sandwich, piggy mac, and fried pickles. The half a chicken was a good size and not dried out. I paired it with the sweet and tangy sauce. The kielbasa was excellent. It had a good flavor profile. The piggy mac was good. The pulled pork was flavorful. The fried pickles were a decent size, but had a little too much breading for my taste. They allowed me to try their various sauces since it was my first time there. The sauces were good. Had more of a tomato base then most sauces I've had. I liked the sweet and tangy and my 18 monther liked the mild. I got the sauces on the side so I could share with him. I would definitely go back the next time, I'm in that area. I want to try the ribs and pork chop next.

The Rib Cage is a n little BBQ joint tucked away on the side of the road that's only open a few days ago week. I stopped in for lunch on a recommendation, and I'm glad I did. I sat at the bar and went with the lunch special, two pork chops smothered in the spicy bbq sauce, and a side of fresh cut fries. The chops were delicious and tender, the sauce had a nice spicy kick with some tang to it. The fries were perfect. And you get to snack on free peanuts, a nice touch. The people who worked there were all very nice. They recommend to call ahead so you don't have to wait if you're in in a hurry.

I'll preface this by saying I'm not a ribs guy. Even so, this place was fairly good. The sauce had a pretty "pizza sauce plus something" flavor that worked decently well. The sauce amount was not skimped on and the ribs do include some edible napkins (white bread slices) for cleanup. The service when ordering takeout was quick and I was given an accurate time expectation. I only shared the atmosphere during pickup, and it seemed to be a standard bar setup. The price was plenty fair for what I received. I wouldn't have any complaints eating here again, even if it isn't likely to be my suggestion, and it's a shame I drove past so many times without...
