Addie's Cafe and Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Four Corners States

There were a group of guards already there when we got there and they were loud and didn't watch their mouths at all ( which doesn't really upset or bother me but depending on what topics are being discussed there are times and places and a lot of those shouldn't be discussed over a meal in public and if one must have such conversations they shouldn't be so loud and obnoxious during conversation!) The food wasn't bad and I'm sure it would have been better if we could have ate it hot instead of luke warm and that had NOTHING to do with the restaurant that was ALL on us!!! The atmosphere could have been a whole lot cleaner and if they had some rugs or chairs with cushions and padding to help drown out some of the background noise would have been much better. It was god awful smelling but that WAS NOT because of the food or people it was just the farm smell in the air ALL around the entire area! But it was AWFUL!!!!!! I felt bad for them because of the smell and that was out of their hands and nothing other than move to a different location in maybe a different town! Our server was SUPER AWESOME! I really liked the gal and thought she went well above the top as a server!!! She was friendly, polite, communicated well with us so we knew what was up our entire visit. She was GREAT!!!!!! I would love to try the ice cream because it sounds really good so maybe next...

A delicious restaurant with all the homie and comfortably sweet decadence reminiscent of a nostalgic and wholesome vibe that's friendly and welcoming, as warm as inviting, and tantalizingly similar to sentimental charm from days long lost. Besides the subtle yet pure ambience, the food is amazing. . Seriously try the mushroom swiss burger. And for reasons I cant explain the fries are better then anywhere I've had. Literally the second best burger of my life, the first being somewhere in the back area of Wyoming I could never find again and as such maybe was more a mirage then truth... anyway the malts and shakes are equally leveled with the burgers I cant wait to have prime rib for the valentines day event While the staff is few so a lot of pressures exerted, they maintain a delightful and attentive demeanor and are punctual to customers needs, although even if it wasnt as great of service as it is, I'd still dutifully be a patronage because the burgers seriously are that good. Not to mention the strawberry shortcake which I haven't found sold anywhere else in the valley and makes me feel like a kid again in the best way possible. This place is prioritize on the quality of food and it's definitely evident in the meals they served. Big portions. Of top quality. Made just right....

My wife and I came in here 1/22/24 She ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and I ordered the Cheesesteak sandwich with jalapeños and onion rings. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Prepared right there so it's hot and extra fresh. The homemade buns were perfect! We didn't wanna stop eating even after we were full. Ms. Addie was so sweet. She really makes you feel welcome. We are definitely going back and can't wait to...
