We weren't sure whether to seat ourselves or wait, or if they were still open for food service. The hostess/server was on the phone and we were told sit anywhere. The music was a little too loud; it was difficult to hear the server and each other. Beverages were okay; not overly-generous on the adult beverage. We shared a few bar-food items (as opposed to freshly made) as we prefer vegetarian and these were the best options. We enjoyed the crispy onion rings the most. Cheese for chips seemed like canned. It would probably be fun to go back on Friday evenings for live music and dancing on the large dance floor. Karaoke is Wednesday evenings.

Highly recommend this place! July-30 Had the country fried steak, with mash potatoes!!! My friends and I sat an eat while having a long conversation over dinner , mild volume music played in the back ground. Making for a very relaxing atmosphere . My friends and I are very picky eaters and this is one of the few places I rely on for amazing food at a far price. This place is alway amazing to visit every one there is alway friendly and everything on the menu so far has been 5 stars! In short the food is alway better than expected and the bill is alway lower than expected. Definitely worth the trip Live music 3 night a week!

Great local place along Highway 24 in Woodland Park, Colorado. The ambience was of a country western joint as evident from the old dance floor converted into a bull riding venue. The back deck and patio was a gorgeous view with Alpaca in the distance. The food was delicious with a smoked grilled flavor. The staff was efferent and helpful. The tea was arbitrarily added with sweet simple syrup so ask beforehand if you want it unsweet. Old school 1980s music played on the speaker system. I can envision this business is hopping on the weekends.

Crystola Roadhouse - A Welcoming Stop with Easy Mountain Access The Crystola Roadhouse truly lives up to its name as a classic roadhouse, offering a convenient and enjoyable stop for locals and travelers alike. Its location right on US Highway 24 makes for incredibly easy access, whether you're just passing through Ute Pass or making it a destination from Colorado Springs or surrounding mountain towns. One of the standout features is how straightforward it is to get to. Situated directly off the main highway, it's well-signed from the highway, so you won't miss it. With ample parking, you can pull right in without a fuss, which is a huge plus, especially for those in larger vehicles or with trailers. What's more, even during peak hours, pulling in and out of the parking lot is surprisingly smooth, making the entire arrival and departure process stress-free. Adding to its excellent accessibility, the entrance is ground level with no steps, making it easy for strollers or wheelchairs, ensuring everyone can enjoy what Crystola has to offer. Once inside, Crystola Roadhouse offers a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. It's known for its live music on Friday nights and sometimes Sunday afternoons, which adds to the vibrant, authentic roadhouse vibe. The menu features classic American fare, and it's generally well-regarded for its food and service. Beyond just the physical location, the "easy access" also applies to the relaxed and unpretentious environment. It's a place where you can comfortably walk in, grab a bite, enjoy a drink, and soak in the local flavor without any complications. Whether you're looking for a quick meal, a place to catch some live tunes, or just a friendly spot to unwind after a day of exploring the Pikes Peak region, Crystola Roadhouse's easy accessibility makes it a prime choice. So, if you're seeking a classic roadhouse experience with the utmost convenience for getting there and getting settled, The Crystola Roadhouse should be high on your list. Its prime highway location, clear signage, smooth traffic flow, and step-free entrance make it a genuinely accessible gem in...

Tonight we decided to try this place after passing it many times on our way home from the mountains. The bar top was full but all the tables were vacant. We sat and ordered waters while we browsed the menus. The waters took more than 5 minutes, which we chalked up to our waitress (also the bartender) being busy with her other customers. When she arrived to take our order, not only did she not write anything down, but walked away immediately when we were done ordering the food, even though the whole table wanted to order drinks, too. I could see the kitchen from our table and noticed only one ticket on the rail. Assuming this was ours, I kept glancing back to see if our food was almost done. 20 minutes later, the cook packaged that ticket as a to-go order, and shortly after the waitress brought back four more orders. At this point, no one had checked on us, and after waiting 30 minutes (yes, a full 30 minutes, we looked at the time right before we ordered) I had to go up to the bar to ask our waitress when our food would arrive. She then told me it would be ANOTHER 5-10 minutes. We ordered two appetizers and one sandwich. None of which requires a 35-40 minute cook time. I have been working in the food service industry since my first job, I know how the system works and from my perspective, it seemed as though the waitress forgot to ring in our food, and failed to communicate this with us. Instead, we felt largely ignored and disappointed. Will not be...

Don't know what happened to this place. Came in around 5:30pm today for the prime rib after going to Woodland Park Oktoberfest. The older server was slow to arrive and struggled to stay attentive. A family of 3 who came in after us left I'm sure because they waited so long to get their order taken. When she finally came with the food it seemed like it had been sitting a while before being picked up, and wasn't the great quality we've had so many times before. She noticed the loaded baked potatoes came plain and told us she'd be back, she never did, so the dry potatoes sat. Finally fresh young staff came in and went to get our check. That got mixed up too, and once straightened out we signed and left. I don't like leaving reviews like this and hope they fix this because we've always liked the place but now questioning whether we will stop again when in town....
