Four Points Lodge — Restaurant in Four Corners States

All I can say about this restaurant is " Exceeded our expectations". We had a great experience getting up the mountains, had a gondola ride till Thunderhead building, enjoyed the great view. When we got to the Thunderhead building we had a great experience getting up the mountains, had a ride on a "snow cat" ( A snowcat is an enclosed-cab, truck-sized, fully tracked vehicle designed to move on snow.) waiting for us that brought us to a five-course culinary experience 9,716 feet above the sea level. As soon as we got inside, we were offered with wine tasting, and some snacks. We had our table ready for us. When we were done, we where welcomed to the table, were offered beverages and food. The restaurant had great service, our server was a young girl from Boston, that was very knowledgeable and helpful.The food was amazing. After we had our dinner we were brought back. I'm sure this place is great or whatever but there needs to be some kind of organization. The food court is a mess whenever it gets busy. Twice now I've ordered food and gotten in line to wait for it. After 20 minutes of waiting I found out they forgot my order. After this they informed me I had to order from the other line. They managed to go this twice before I got fed up and left.

Steamboat is already extremely expensive compared to other mountains. I was trying to give them money to help support local resorts but obviously they don't want it. I'll be bringing my own food from now on if I go...

Ok... we have been coming here for years. This year? Insanely expensive for what it is even for on the mountain. Imagine our surprise when I had lunch with my daughters and it was more than what I have paid at twin elk at Vail or mid mountain at Aspen highlands?
