June 2026 OMG, what a find today! While driving east, I stumbled upon this hidden gem by pure accident. It’s currently under new management—no signboard yet, and the place looks a bit run-down. The furniture is old, the service is basic, and the washroom… well, let’s just say it needs serious attention. But—but—but— The food is out of this world. As authentic as it gets. I tried the Mix Paratha, and it was massive—served with a dollop of white butter and a bowl of mouthwatering Mix Veg Raita. Usually, parathas are bland and flavorless at many places I’ve tried, but not here. This one was loaded with spices and flavor. It was so good, I asked them to pack another one for dinner. It’s located at a truck stop—so fill up your gas tank and your stomach with some real, soulful food, and hit the road. Just don’t expect anything beyond the food, and you’ll be more than satisfied. I’m hopeful the rest—service, cleanliness, ambiance—will improve with time.

The smug cocky arrogant guy behind the counter did not like me wasting his time with my silly questions often answering me with one word responses and just staring off in the distance like he had somewhere else he had to be. I ordered to-go as I was staying at the hotel next door, but predictably he did not give me what I ordered and gave me the hottest and spiciest chicken possible when I was looking for something like butter chicken. There is a neat convenience store attached to the restaurant. I had no other food options nearby so after tiring of burning my mouth I tossed the food where it belonged. The garbage.

Ordered butter chicken and goat biryani, both were just warmed up in some plastic container and sent to us. There was like 4 slices of chicken in the round container, even though it’s not very pricy ($12.99). Almost the worst Indian meal that we’ve ever had. There was also no services at all, we had to get water ourselves from the drinking water machine.

Wow, what a disappointment this place turned out to be. Been meaning to stop here for ages but don't take this route often, so today was the first.. called 20 miles before arrival to order lamb curry + garlic naan. Told me they only have chicken curry and plain naan. No problem, told them that's fine. Arrived and they very obviously hadn't been expecting me to arrive, as nothing was ready. 10 minutes later I get my food and he "apologizes" by giving me "4 pieces of naan" which i thought was a little odd but whatever.

Back in my truck I find that both the rice(not included with the curry btw) and the chicken curry are very obviously freshly reheated and not NEARLY enough. Both were just over lukewarm at the top and flat out cold in the center.

The "4 pieces of naan" was just 1 roti cut into 4 pieces.

Worst indian restaurant i've been to out on the road by a LONG shot. Indian food generally agrees with me but i'm adjusting course to ensure i park near a restroom tonight.. I get the feeling it'll be necessary.

Pretty sure they're going out of business. As i recall there used to be a big ol punjab sign here which is what caught my eye. No sign or...

Just what we were looking for after a long day at the Petrified Forest. We ordered lentils, paneer, chapati and hot tea (chai). The food was very good but served in plastic containers and styrofoam plates. This is also truck stop, so I figure they do a lot of takeout. It seems like they have some things not on the menu (tea, probably lassi, chutney, etc) so ask if you don't see it. Some items on the menu were not available. Service was OK, not great. It would be nice if they offered rice and chutneys to go with the dishes. The building looks pretty run down and there were several flies buzzing around. Hopefully they will put some effort into the physical space as they get...
