Rigo's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Four Corners States

Hello everyone it's Food Guy checking out food here and there. Today was a good day for finding a gem in a stack of shi+. Seriously if you are looking for some good food you need to give this place a try. But when I say it is a gem surround poop I'm not kidding. This restaurant is at the cattle sale barn just south of Eaton Colorado. It is not easy to get to but it's definitely worth it when you do. When you first walk in your thinking ( hmmm No) But trust me you will want to stay. I really don't have negative comments for this place, for except the location and atmosphere. The service and food are spot on. The owner was nice enough to come and speak with us. That's service you no longer see anymore. If you're looking for 5 star, upscale, silver spoon restaurant this is not your place. If you're looking for friendly service, good/tasty food, a price that's affordable then I definitely recommend this place.

Ok, this was a gem my daughter found by accident. Not easy to get to if you are unfamiliar with the back roads. However, this place is perfect for authentic Mexican diner food! There is a 3 prong test when looking at authenticity; beans, rice, enchilada. The beans and rice are absolutely delicious, the enchilada is good, but I am a red sauce fan, so/so on green, but the sauce was fantastic. Another test, menudo. This stuff was very clean, very tender, and NOT over cooked! We all had different dishes and meats to test the menu. Everything was delicious. I ate days ago and thought about keeping it hidden, my own gem! Then got over the selfishness and wish to share with everyone! I'm going back once a week= not only delicious, ...

yesterday I found this Gem of a restaurant and I was glad I did clean environment clean and friendly staff the owner"Rigo" came out of the Kitchen and sat at the table with me for a good 20 minutes and we talked about restaurants and food and how I was impressed with the entire experience at his restaurant the bathroom was clean no garbage in the trash which is a number one for me all the ceiling walls and fixtures were not hanging with disgusting Dust and dripping Grease I can see into the kitchen and that was also clean no gum under the tables no sticky floors and Rego the owner went on to tell me how it took him well over 2 months to clean the place up when he first took over the place and put his name on it I highly recommend this location to everyone outside of this area you should all band together in a group of Foodies and go to this place with cash and leave a fat tip when you're done you will not regret it they even have Mexican beers in the bottle super ice cold the way they should be Ayer encontré esta joya de restaurante y me alegré de haberlo hecho. Ambiente limpio, personal limpio y amable. El dueño "Rigo" salió de la cocina y se sentó a la mesa conmigo durante unos buenos 20 minutos y hablamos de restaurantes y comida y de lo impresionado que estaba con toda la experiencia en su restaurante. El baño estaba limpio, no había basura en la basura, lo cual es un número uno para mí, todas las paredes y los accesorios del techo no estaban colgando con polvo repugnante y grasa goteando. Puedo ver la cocina y eso también estaba limpio, sin chicles debajo de las mesas, sin pisos pegajosos y Rego, el dueño, continuó contándome cómo le tomó más de 2 meses limpiar el lugar cuando se hizo cargo del lugar por primera vez y le puso su nombre. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar a todos fuera de esta área, todos deberían unirse en un grupo de amantes de la comida e ir a este lugar con efectivo y dejar una propina generosa cuando terminen, no se arrepentirán, incluso tienen cervezas mexicanas en botella súper heladas...
