Our experience at the Sky View Restaurant was nothing short of wonderful. My husband and I spent nearly two hours enjoying a slow, relaxing afternoon in what turned out to be one of the best spots in the Grand Canyon West area.
We were seated at a corner window table with stunning views on two sides—overlooking both the breathtaking canyon and the Skywalk. It was the perfect vantage point for soaking in the scenery and people-watching, all while staying cool in the clean, comfortable, air-conditioned dining room.
We ordered a bottle of wine and the apple pecan salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The wine was crisp and well-paired with the light, flavorful salad—an unexpectedly delightful dining experience in the middle of the desert.
The service was attentive and gracious without being intrusive, and we never felt rushed. Instead, we were encouraged to enjoy the view, sip our wine, and savor the moment.
Sky View is a must-do if you’re visiting the canyon and want a serene, elevated break from the heat and crowds. We’ll remember this experience as one of the highlights of our Grand...

Was planning to dine in Sky View but wanted to check how scary the Skywalk is so if I’m interested, I can finish Skywalk first as there is a long line.
Apparently, this restaurant OWN THE VIEW but they don’t want to say it out loud (god knows why). I replied saying yes I understand and I just want to checkout the walk before getting lunch. He got upset as I moved too slow and because I was taking pics while he asked me to step out, he directly tried to grab my phone.
I’d recommend the restaurant hire someone knows how to communicate and respect customers personal belongings to reinforce whatever rules the restaurant has. His behavior can easily get the restaurant...
Read moreSky View Restaurant at Grand Canyon West Rim is a sit-down spot with stunning canyon views and cafeteria-style American fare. You’ll find burgers, chicken tenders, vegan options like Beyond Burgers, and a kids menu. Portions are generous and prices run around $13–$18 with soda included . Service is friendly and efficient, though some reviewers noted limited menu variety and occasional middling quality—microwaved meals were mentioned for some bowl dishes . It’s the only place where beer or wine is served (two‑drink limit) . Window seats offer the highlight: panoramic views of the Skywalk and canyon below. There’s often a short wait, and a 30‑minute limit per window seat, but it’s well worth it . Overall, it’s a convenient stop at Eagle Point—good value for a pass-day meal, especially if you prioritize views and comfort over...
