My family recently sold their home in woodland and although I have spent many many wonderful summer days/nights at my grandparents home I had never had the pleasure of dining at this cozy restaurant in the hills. I am a huge fan of 'Ma & Pa' diners so I was thrilled to savor the BEST turkey sandwich in UTAH knowing it was made in my town of my "piece of heaven". I absolutely loved the outdoor ambiance and the "friendly next door, salt of the earth" vibe I experienced from the staff and fellow diners. I will forever love this place and I am so blessed to run across a piece of my past. The best part is the food is absolutely amazing and I devoured every last bit I could fit in my belly. As for the prices....you get what you pay for...everything from the fresh ripe tomatoes, onions and cucumbers to the juicy turkey and fine quality bread was mouthwatering. I had no complaints and will be returning very soon to enjoy my paradise and try the biscuits & gravy that they are known for!!

I wish I could write about the food because it looked fantastic! I biked to this cafe with friends and asked if we could just get some coffee and biscuits to go since we didn’t have a reservation. We were told that they would check and waited about 15 min. After that we asked another waitress and was told that they would check and come out to tell us, but again, we waited 15 min and nobody came to say anything. In the mean time, a couple on a bike ride came by and were promptly served coffee and biscuits to go without a reservation. We made sure to ask them. I’m not sure if we were shrugged off because me and my friends are all around 25 or what. It would have been fine if they told us that they didn’t have enough to serve the 6 of us and/or hadn’t served the couple that biked in well after us, but it was extremely irritating to be brushed off and end up waiting 30min for nothing. Needless to say we were all very disappointed because we had planned our ride...

The food was good but nowhere to go outta the way for. It was a relatively small portions. My favorite of everything I tried was the biscuit and the piece of bacon. My biggest issue was that it is quite apparent that if they know you, you'll get great service, otherwise expect to wait and be ignored. The place is not big. Like an extra large living room. After we were seated the blonde waitress did not acknowledge us for 40 minutes!! People that were seated after us had their order taken and food delivered before she even greeted our table. After delivering the food she never returned. We sat there with empty plates for quite a while trying to get her to bring the check. We finally had to catch a different worker to help get her attention. Regretfully I still tipped because I didn't want other workers to miss out because of one person's horrible service. I'm happy to have made it to the location and tried it. I'll be perfectly happy if I never...

Absolutely delightful. Was unable to secure a reservation to this premiere hideaway but was warmly welcomed as a walk-in. Lovely atmosphere, and fantastic service. Enjoyed Shirred eggs with Gruyère cheese and shiitake mushrooms. Never see it on any menu because difficult to prepare correctly and the Chef did not disappoint. Coupled with their world-famous homemade biscuit with house-made blueberry jam was divine. Could not resist the generous mimosa served in a heavy cut-glass tumbler with a dash of blood orange liquor which displayed a simple sunshine mix. The best breakfast I have ever had. I have already put on my calendar the call in time for my 9AM reservation on a future Sunday so we can score their limited edition cinnamon roll biscuit that sells out quickly. Long gone when we arrived at 10:30AM. This gem of an experience is only open Saturday and Sunday. Don’t miss it!

I’m in Park City and had a recommendation for the Woodland Biscuit Company. What a great place! They have limited hours, so be sure to check the website. We went for a Sunday brunch. We tried to make reservations online ahead of time but it said we needed to be at least 16 hours prior. We drove there anyway and thanks to the friendly and helpful staff they were able to squeeze us in between their reservations. So glad they did. The service was GREAT, the food was even BETTER. This is a hidden gem, a little out of the way, but SO worth the time to get there. Obviously the biscuits are wonderful. We had the Egg and Bacon plate, Croque Madam and the Blue, Tomato and Bacon biscuit, plus a couple of the CRB, Cinnamon Roll Biscuits, to take with us. Wonderful food. This will be on my list of places I HAVE to visit when I’m in the area!

Best breakfast in Utah. Make sure you get reservations before showing up. The biscuits were just amazing. We started with the minis and blueberry jam. They were perfect. Then moved onto the biscuits and gravy and omelette and everything was amazing. The bacon and hash browns were the icing on the cake. The location is very isolated and we felt like we were eating in someone’s kitchen and not a restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and this is a must if you live in Utah. We drove over an hour to try them out and it was well worth the drive. We look forward to a return trip soon.
