Eggy's Diner — Restaurant in Fox Lake

Hey Cheryl. This is the old man that was thrown out. First of all, you should be ashamed of yourself for making such an untrue post. Let me explain. I am a retired Diabled VietNam veteran that from serving his country lost a lot of his hearing. The only way I can use the phone is on speaker I cannot hear as regular folks do. This was a very important phone call that needed attention. You lie when you say they told me to take the phone outside. The only correspondence I had with the waitress was. “ do you want desert “ and I replied yes. I knew absolutely nothing of any other problems. You however with your selfish group was eavesdropping on my conversation. Shame on you! I have pretty much supported this restaurant weekly for the past couple years. How bout you? I have never had an altercation before with the owner. Until your selfish group started all this. I sure hope you can pick up the slack now of keeping them open. I’m done. Maybe if you knew the circumstances before you open your pie hole things would have been different. Mind your own business. I knew of nothing until the very end when I was handed the bill. We were traveling from the Dells area and had an early lunch at Eggy’s Diner in Fox Lake, Wi. The restaurant is decorated with a 50’s-60’s theme with posters and memoriabilia. Our server, Ashley, was prompt in taking our order and checked on us just the right amount of times during our meal. We both had a “Badger Burger” which was very tasty. The meat was fresh and cooked just right. The fries were hot and there was a heaping amount on the plate. It is a family friendly restaurant and is a location that is easy to find. I highly recommend you stop in at Eggy’s when you are in the area.

A very rude customer turned on his cell phone speaker really loud, and continued for several minutes having a obnoxious speaker phone conversation. It was disturbing everyone's lunch. The owner handled it very professionally and asked the customer to take his call outside. He refused and began yelling at her. She was trying her best to calm him but he continued to yell at her all the way out the door. After he left, the rest of the customers started clapping. With this going she continued to do a great job of serving her other customers. The food was great as usual and the four of us look forward to coming back to great a diner with very good food in Fox Lake. Hopefully the customer sticks to his threat of "I'm never coming...
