I frequently visit the Worcester locations to receive my favorite drink but last night I decided to stop at a beautiful location right at the rest stop area on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham. It was decently busy as you can expect, but I wouldn't say there were more than five cars in the line. I pulled up to order (since I usually mobile order ahead but that was not available and there is no option to come inside), and I was actually greeted nicely. I ordered my new favorite, an iced coconutmilk mocha macchiatto and a java chip frappucino for my friend in the backseat. After waiting 20 minutes to order, I was told there was no coconutmilk for my favorite drink! So I thought, not a big deal, let me continue to order with almond milk. Then my friend asked for whipped cream on the frappucino (even though we know it already comes with it) and they told us there was none. OK - no big deal. It's now almost 30 minutes in the line before we pull up to the window. My friend decided she wanted an added espresso shot on the side, so we looked up the phone number to call so we wouldn't have to wait any longer or hold up the line - no phone number listed. I finally get to the window, and the lady asks me what my order was! I repeat what I order and I request the espresso shot and apologize that it was so last minute. The girl at the window rolls her eyes and asks me if I want it hot or cold. I turn around to my friend in the back and ask her - the lady at the window yells "I SAID DO YOU WANT IT HOT OR COLD" so I say "excuse me, I just turned around to ask my friend in the back." Well, I tell the lady to just put it on the side over ice since it would be too complicated to add it to the frappucino. They she tells me my total and I hand her my phone. She tells me that the scanning system is down. I tell her no problem, I will just use my gold card. She takes it from me and does not swipe it. She then says, "I don't think it is going to work." and I tell her, "did you swipe it?" and she literally tells me "No, I know it won't work. Can I just use your credit card?" Moral of this entire story, I said no. I am using a 7-day streak Starbucks challenge, about to spend $15 at a store that gave me horrible service, did not have the drink I wanted, and took over 30 minutes of my day. It's safe to say I love Starbucks but I will never visit that store ever again. Worst management I have ever seen. Avoid that location...

This freeway shop at the Framingham Rest area is pathetic. There’s only a single way to get to the window line and if you miss it, coming right off the highway at speed, apparently you are not permitted to order coffee as a pedestrian. Staff refused to serve me unless I was in my car. So I waited for the drive up line to dissipate and tried to place my order at the menu board. The staff refused to serve me despite no cars in line behind me.
I walked up to the window (again) and staff still refused to take my order. No signage explaining this rule. I had waited a very long time standing outside waiting for a turn to order. Maybe it’s a no biggie to others, but to me this was ridiculous, unfriendly and uncooperative.
PS as I sit here in my car writing this review, unable to drive to the line because of one way direction preventing me, not a single car had been in line or had passed through, and still I am refused service.

   Read moreI have ordered the same sandwich every day and it’s always disgusting. I have tried to ask them to make sure the bacon is cooked all the way, then I asked for crispy, then I asked for extra crispy, then we’ll done, then I just asked “can you please make sure my bacon isn’t gross rubbery and cold” I get the same condition every time. The bacon isn’t cooked through, it’s cold and rubbery, and literally inedible. I have wasted so much money on food I haven’t been able to eat. They also have nitro cold brew on the menu and for three months they haven’t had it, so it should be removed. The coffee itself I’ve never had an issue with but just knowing I have throw away my $7 sandwiches every day and then in addition I’ve had to door dash breakfast or starve until lunch after already wasting so much money I can’t keep quiet anymore.
