McDonald's — Restaurant in Franklin Springs

What can be said that hasn't been said. This location used to be a fast food restaurant that was consistently clean inside and out (the used to was the drive thru lane). Now the place is less clean, much less. If you go inside, it always looks to be recovering from some sort of calamity with some lady yelling order numbers like an angry Drill Sergeant on your 3rd day of Boot Camp. If you are ordering for more than one person, it normally means waiting along with two or five other vehicles, be prepared as this has proven to be the rule and not the exception. Normally, you will only wait for 5 to 10 minutes, but one rainy evening with a suburban full of hungry kids, I waited exactly 38 minutes. I know this because I was morbidly curious to see how long I would wait before breaking down and going inside to discover what cruel fate had befallen my order. It was uneventful as my order was just sitting there, forgotten and alone. The person on the ordering part is always nice, and they are actually pretty good at getting the order correct. I would say I have only had a few incorrect orders, sometimes receiving something I didn't order and other times missing something. The food is consistently decent, and the fries are hot. As long as you understand the restaurant is not very clean and the service is not very fast you won't be disappointed. I am not disappointed either as I accept my fate and I treat the kids at least once a month to happy meals and McFlurries (as long as the machine...

Whoever they made manager in the last few months, I would say the last 3 to 6 months sucks. I stopped by there last night around 8 o’clock place. My order was a fish sandwich combo. I asked them to put the sauce on the side because normally they add too much sauce to the sandwich And is oozing out the sides. I noticed that the rude girl that rang me up. Wouldn’t even let me finish what I was saying. She asked me if that’s it that’s it if that’s it said I said to her, I said, how do you normally charge for sauces that usually come on the sandwich and she’s like Didn’t say anything something rude didn’t even answer my question and I said I need to speak your manager she’s like my manager is the one that told me to do that I proceeded to just drive off because I didn’t want to get an altercation with this person, and I politely called corporate and talked to the young lady on the corporate answer like operator board She took my information she took where the store was and also told me that this would be handled so I told her I would not be back until this manager is no longer there and they hire some competent staff. They have improved a ton. About a year ago I stopped going the service was beyond slow. Prices for everything had gone up. Food flavor had gone down hill. For some reason my absolute favorite item to order their French 🍟 started to taste really strange. Like they had. Changed the type of oil they used to fry them in. I wasnt the only one who thought that. Anyway a couple weeks ago I decided to order some fries( my daughter wanted to eat there) and they actually tasted good like they did before. So YAY! McDonalds! One other thing, I hope they try to keep the great happy meal toys they always had in the past. I kno they are always my choice when I had kids, and now with my grandkids. Because of the great toys. There isn't another fast food restaurant around that can compete with the happy meal/ with the good quality toys( like when they do the mini beanie babies etc..) I will go out of my way to get happy meals for them. Everywhere fast food chains kids meals really stink. But with out the good toy... might as well just get them Wendy's, or burger king etc... just a thought because they toys have become a bit...
