Chanced upon Caledonia Café and it did not disappoint! Nestled in the heart of charm, this cozy little gem offers the best of both worlds: indulgent ice cream and creative inspiration. First off, the ice cream, sourced from the legendary Mr G’s, is hands down the best you’ll ever taste. Creamy, flavorful, and nostalgic in all the right ways, every scoop is a masterpiece. The Butter Pecan flavor always wins my heart! But what truly sets Caledonia Café apart is its delightfully quaint and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re popping in for a sweet treat or settling down for a day of stitching serenity, the vibe is pure comfort. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, whether you’re there for a cone, a craft or a conversation. A must-visit haven for ice cream lovers and sewing enthusiasts alike. Caledonia Café is truly something special.

To be perfectly clear, iI was going to the Sewing store but you enter through the restaurant. I did not purchase anything there as my previous stop very close by was Mister Ed's Elephant Museum and Candy Emporium. If I am able to return, I will reverse the order. Shop for sewing items (I bought several from a nice selection), eat and THEN go to Mister Ed's.

Very cute cafe with vintage sewing machines everywhere and cute mini machines on the table. Service was poor though. The girl behind the counter seemed like she didn't want to be there! I asked for toasted bagels and we got warm bagels not toasted.

We used to love, LOVE their pumpkin bread. It's what drew us there. It was perfection. Nice dense pumpkin bread, not heavy on the spices with a great topping. Now? No. We won't be back. First thing we noticed, the shape. It's not baked in the same pans. It used to be a nice wide, dense piece, cut nice and thick.

Now, the texture reminds me of a cheap way to make a bread from a box mix, airy, spongy.. It's heavy on the spices, and they've added nuts and raisins. No beautiful topping. They had a following for the old pumpkin bread. It was a beautiful guilty pleasure. Not anymore, it hit the trash can.

The staff...
