If I could give 0 stars I would! This was our first time going there. We walk in and no one greets us or acknowledges us. They clearly saw us- so I approach someone to wait on us. We had planned on eating inside until we found out it was going to be close to $10.00 for 2 small bottles of pop. So I decide to get the pizza to go. They told us 15 or 20 minutes. So I go back in to get pizza and it's not ready. They tell me 3 or 4 minutes. So I check back again and they say 5 more minutes. So I check back yet again and they say-- we ripped your pizzas we have to remake them. At this point I'm disgusted. So I say--just give me my money back. The girl finally refunds my money and only gives me $12.00 back when I paid $23.00. So I tell her she owes me $23.00 and I get the refund. Before I leave I tell the girl this was the worst service I've ever received explaining that NONE of the workers smiled once and they acted like they were doing me a favor by waiting on me and that they need to learn the words "thank you". If this is how these young kids treat customers- this place wont be around long. Needless to say--we...
Read moreI've been checking out all the small pizza places around here after moving into the area. Coalpatch pizza was outstanding. The man who answered the phone and took my order was very friendly and exactly what I'd expect from a hometown pizza shop. When driving there I was a lil blown away that its located in the middle of nowhere. I would have drove right past had it not been for the Italian flag flying outside. Seeing the building I was immedietly excited for the food. when a place can exist off the beaten path with almost no flash and flair they have to have gotten the food right. I was not disappointed. Prices were reasonable. I got the fayettenam Stromboli it was cooked to perfection, and very tasty. I worked outside all afternoon and was hungry and tired, this meal...
Read moreStopped in at Coalpatch Pizza and was seriously impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming — you can tell they really care about their customers. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken pizza, and it was absolutely awesome. The crust was perfectly baked with that ideal balance of crisp and chew, and the flavor was spot-on. The pizza came with homemade ranch, which took it to the next level — easily some of the best ranch I’ve ever had.
You can tell this place is doing big things — looks like they’re expanding and even starting to make their own craft beer onsite soon. Between the great food, great people, and exciting plans for the future, I can’t wait to go back. Definitely a...
