Bojangles — Restaurant in Franklin

I passed up many Bojangles coming from Martinsville VA, as I'm a truck driver and this particular one is linked to Loves Truck Stop. I get there and it's 7 in the evening and I'm told immediately there isn't any chicken. Wth, ok let me get an order of chicken tenders with a side of dirty rice and green beans. I get my food, and the tenders are stale from sitting all day, the rice has hard grains of rice, but the green beans were good lbvs. So I go back to the counter with my complaint and instead of offering me some fresh ones, they say I'll just refund you your money and you can have a nice day. I ask you can't drop some fresh ones? That goes on deaf ears, as they complete my refund and tell me to have a nice night. End of story? No its not. I come back in 30 minutes later (to go to Loves showers) as like stated I'm a trucker and this is where I'm staying that particular night, and they're now serving chicken to a crowded store of customers!! Oh how can I forget this part, the chicken that's being served, they accidentally bought that pan out while I was sitting in there eating those stale tenders. Supposedly the cook wasn't supposed to bring them out, and to me and another 2 drivers surprise, another staff member quickly grabbed that pan and took it back to the back, reiterated we don't have any chicken and stated yeah that pan isn't ready.. But it was a fresh pan that the cook had bought out, WHICH 30-45 MINS LATER THEY ENDED UP SELLING CHICKEN AGAIN COINCIDENTALLY. A new staff that doesn't include a bunch of kids is needed in that Bojangles with much better customer service being priority...

The customer service at this place is ALWAYS horrible so I'm honestly not sure why today surprised me. Stopped in today and ordered food through the drive thru. I ordered my first meal and before I could complete my order the lady was giving me a total. I said ma'am I've not completed my order, she snaps back with you don't have to be smart. At this point didn't even want to complete my order for fear they would spit in my food - however I did pull directly to the window and ask for the manager. Well guess who - the same woman that told me I didn't need to be smart. I'm pretty sure saying ma'am I'm not done ordering is not "smart". I mean I do not know any other way to say it and if I wasn't being rushed to order I could've completed and all this could've been avoided. Her first mistake was simply telling me through the intercom I don't have to be smart. As a manager you should not speak to someone like that . If she thought that was being "smart" she clearly has no business working at a fast food place. Furthermore everytime I stop there, there is about 8 employees just standing around playing, I've heard them cussing through the window before, just very unprofessional. I hope the lady I encountered today is prepared to find a new job after I call corporate on her Monday morning! She clearly is not manager material. Franklin has got to do better. Hire people that want to work and not speak to...

This review is not about FOOD, but about respect and decency! June 15, 2025 I came in and bought food as a pit stop on a journey to be with my sister ( who was sick in NC). Either distraction or simply careless, on my part, I dropped my (wristlet) wallet. I didn’t discover this until 3 hours later while pulling into Charlotte for .. more snacks! I called the LOVE restaurant stop and spoke to a young lady. She was kind when I told her of my situation. I asked for the number to Bojangles, promptly she offered to walk over and check to see if the wallet was there. She came back to phone ask me to describe it, the words “ yes ma’am I’ll hold it for you” was overwhelming, I began to cry! I asked her name and begged her to please hug each young man over at Bojangles from me! The young men working on that Sunday afternoon had put it up for me. The love, respect, decency, and pure kindness from these young men should not go unnoticed. The young men were working Sunday June 15 around 4-5pm. I need the world to know that THIS particular bojangles in Franklin, VA not only serves hot fries and chicken But they serve love and compassion for a woman who had tooo much going on that day! I don’t know their names, but when they read this.. you fellas know who you are!!! Thank you and please don’t stop being kind, thoughtful, respectful to yourself and the rest of the world! I am so grateful...
